you are correct: you shouldn't be arguing with me because you don't know what you're talking about. the only thing you'll kill with a 1.4 speed weapon are paddies. you'll have no hope of killing defenders.

much to the delight of the jedi on my server, i've cancelled my account for now. it's just too boring being the greatest BH in SWG because i could slay 98% of the jedi on my server. i'm going to re-up my account when the FRS comes back online next year. hopefully the jedi will put up a better fight then.

The only worry I have with a speed pup and the LD-1, same stats as the Fallen, is the SAC.... Akast do you basically just hit the jedi with nearly all placed... or ranged shots and an occassional special?
As a major proponent of the kinetic rifles I have somthing to add in here.
I have two LD-1 rifles both ADKed. One is full speed slice and one is full damage slice. I place a damage pup on the damage sliced gun and a SAC pup on the speed sliced gun. I open up the fight with a cover/sniper shot from the damage gun and immediatly switch to the SAC puped gun. I continue to use the SAC puped gun spamming specials all day long. Once it becomes evident that the jedi is almost out of force I switch to the damage puped wepon and start laying down heavy fire.
As for foods and the like, I find this combo is about the best
Kanahly wafers,blob candy,spiced tea,thundercloud,air cake, booster blue.
I also keep the lowest fill ruby bliel I can find on the server to use in conjunction with stims.
When using my SAC puped rifle (68) I can Crit, KD, startle, crit, snare, torso, eyeshot with only using about half of my action. If I get below half I used ranged shot until I'm back to 3/4 full.
just remember...even with a PSG it takes only a few good shots to make it worthless
after those first few shots your just droppin the condition on the PSG like no other...its prtotection is gone

How are you going to manage your action when you face a master defender with your missing 3 of every 5 shots? I have an idea of how to fight a Jedi using a SAC pup rather than a speed pup, only reason you'd rely on a speed pup is that you are using a damage pup converted rifle when you had your items transferred with your char from a different server. Am I right?
