If there aren't any parentheseses next to the HAM info (in the data pad examine box), then its full grown, for example, if all the HAM numbers look like this 800/(1100) then its still a baby, if they are all like this 1100 , its full grown.
Pets vary on how much time it takes, it can take maybe 4 days to a week, which is for most species, although sometimes a pet can seemingly grow in a day or two.
Pets will grow whether you are a CH or not
I don't think theres really anything that you can do to make it grow faster, except maybe having it out at least once every 24 hours, and having it fight and win seems to help.

I recieved an NPC mission to kill some Force Wielders. Basically I had to kill 6 minions and a Boss. I killed the Minions easy, but the Boss finished me off. I want to put together a team to help me kill this NPC. I could really use your help. If you just like to pawn Force Wielders, please help me out.

Might want to post this on the Ahazi board, you might have more luck putting together a group on that board than here.

i think i'm in storm.is there i a guid some one could refer us too? i haven't found one yet.was thinking maybe i over looked it?

If you are in Storm Squadron, I believe your trainer sends you to the imperial pilot trainer in the Bestine Capitol Building (the same room as Victor from the Bestine elections occupy).
I can't remember the mission, though. Can any of you explain what you are told to do?
