Carbines is good in both PvP and PvE. You can do some massive damage with carbs (My carbine is1064 max dam, 1.3 speed, 57 SAC) and the Full Auto Area is the best AoE in the game. You can clear out a room full of NPCs in the time it would take for another prof to take down one of those NPCs. It's well-balanced between defense and damage.

Forgot to bring that point up. Also you can still use your rifle and/or pistol and get to use all of the BH/Carb SA. Another thing is that you can collect up to 900k o
xp on the 2 "other" types that you are not master in.

im in the same boat though my pistol is capped and with a pup it sits at 1034 max damge but i do know where near enough damage to jedi im hitting like 400 a shot on specails against these defender guys, where in that bh guide u see Screen shots of him hitting them for 1400 damge time and again with hes rifle

I have been a big melee person before and during the start of the cu, but now that melee isnt doing so well i switched my whole template around from master swordsman/tkm/doc 4/0/0/0 to mbh/cm 4/0/0/0. Now the last part of my template is the problem. I can either go master pistoleer or master riflesman, but i dont know which one is better for pvp and high end pve.
Any help is appreciated!

I am Master Rifles/MBH on my alt. I like the 65m range on rifles and my 83 SAC Laser Rifle...
The 35m range on a Pistol is the main downfall...if you want to stay out and kite in some PvE, that 35m range can be an issue.
