I was out with my group hunting kryats & I see a blue dot come around, now he doesn't attack me while I'm fighting kryats but after I'm done I cloak & regain my force just in case. He waits. Then when I'm ready the fight starts we're both fooded up & the fight lasts for about 3-5 min I didn't really keep track, but it didn't last that long because I had lag or anything like that he is jsut a skilled PVPer who knows his jedi templats & weakness's.
I killed him after the loger than normal fight Tell him good fight & said to my group mates that he was very honorable about it in spacial so they wouldn't do the normal /spit /slap things that you see a lot of people doing to BH.
After the fight we start talking & apparently I'm the only non-MLS to defeat him. So we start talking a little I give him a few tips for being a respectfull/honorable BH, & he invites me to send him a tell any time if I want some practice duels for PVP.
Now why can't all BH encounters be this way? Thats about all I've got to say about that.
I assume the reason why he did not attack you while you were fighting the Krayt, is because you would be instantly DB'd by the Krayt if he would have incapped you. Regardless of his reasons, he sounds like an honorable BH. /salute Nevets

I don't know... maybe because we die when we wait and are "honorable"?
I'll never understand this. Jedi fight and fight so they can beat anyone in a fair situation. Then when someone kills them in an unfair situation, they act surprised.

Because I've got in-game bills to pay. Man, I got five kids to feed!
The non-angry side of me gives props to that player for adhering to his morals, or his characters' morals if he is a Roleplayer. The business side of me says he should have just got paid, but hey, not every Bounty Hunter is just about the cash.
On a side note, I've often wondered: When Jedi ask us Bounty Hunters for a "fair" fight, I take that to mean they'll be using a blaster or rifle. Never seems to work out that way...curious.

I would have tried to root you in front of the Krayt and kill you as quickly as possible but that is just me....and I consider myself honarable. It's just a game and we are suppose to be playing the role of BOUNTY HUNTERS not professional duelers.

I would have attacked during your krayt fight, why not? When im SF, cloakers tend to gank and not go one on one or let me know they are in the area. It's pretty much the same, fair game.

imo - this makes him a bad BH, not honorable
honorable in the BH sense is not trash talking, and not lying

One has to wonder how "honorable" he would have been called in this post if he'd BEATEN the jedi. Sure, when he gives you the opportunity to tool up for the fight and you win, he's "so honorable." As though it's dishonorable to kill you when you were in a fight after you got yourself on the terminals? And as though this post would even be here if he'd beaten you?
As a matter of fact if he had beaten me it wold have been here simply put he WAS VERY HONORABLE & RESPECFULL TO ME BEFORE DURING & AFTER THE FIGHT. Thats really the whole reason for this. If he had beaten me it woule have been my own fault.
BTW man did you actually READ THROUGH ALL OF THE ORIGIONAL POST!!! Where I talked about all the other people who had been hunted by him & weather they won or lost they ALL had nothing but good things to say about him?
Anyways I guess ya can't pay a complement to one member of a proffession without offending the rest.
/pats flaming BH's all over this thread on the head "its ok one day you'll learn totreat everyone like an actual person one day."

It is a game not real life.
He (no matter how many victories) is not playing it to the best of his ability based on what his profession is desgined to do in game and the way he approached his attack with you.
It's really not that complicated, it really is not a flame on him, it really has nothing to do with compliments, it simply.....has todo with facts.
His attack based on what you described = someone who wants to lose alot.
All you did is call him out on his loss in front of his peers.

they arent liek that cuz most r afraid they cant win (this guy didnt but at least he tried without the usual attack while fighting tactics) (notice i used the word tactics because that is a smart but still dishinorable tactic)

Well, all I really want to say is it's just typical of a Jedi to compliment a BH after the Jedi defeats the BH or gets away.
Maybe that has nothing to do with the O.P. but it's a trendI see in Jedi, they don't tend to compliment BH's who beat them.
