Please read where I stated PvE jedi would be safe from forced PvP....
The issue is people would change it based on their mood or they would be PVE till tehy finished grinding then go PVP making it ieven easier than it is to get a jedi to full template.

i think that when player missions come out, jedi will be "melded" into that, so ur not only hunting jedi, but everyone else whoes on the terminal to, probably no way to tell the difference.

Ok say we throw the whole system out, which by the way you know you will be subject to hunts.
1) what would stop a jedi going pve then when he finished grinding switching to pvp
2) more jedi will occur faster, ruining even more the star wars universe
3) everyone would be a jedi

I'm sry but I don't think this will work. Not just because of the reasons stated here but because what Jedi will start doing is going into PvE mode. Then when they finish lvling they are going to cry and complain to the devs to bring back the old system again where they are hunted by BHs and can pvp at any time.
All this would do is make it easier for a new generation of Jedi to rise.

There were BH's long before Jedi. There were BH's LONG before hunting Jedi was even considered as an option. BH's were "in" the plan for the game back when the dev's didn't want Jedi in the game.
So tell me again how BH's were created to hunt Jedi.
To the OP: That's something Tanks suggested. The idea he laid out was that Jedi could choose to be PVE only and NEVER be able to go PVP+. If a Jedi wanted to go PVP+ they'd have to surrender all their Jedi skill boxesand start over with just basic Saber Hit and regrind their temp.

post it here because Im a BH. Dont have a jedi and I will never have a jedi. Its an idea, you dont like it say so. Simple.

I didnt know if it had been brought up before or not, but goes with what I was thinking. Not being able to grind as PvE then going PvP. If you chose PvE you stayed that way. Not sure why all the hostility towards an idea. Not like IM saying nerf this or whine that...I dont even have or want a jedi!
