Thread: I can solo an ancient kryat dragon

Still, though, love to hear the explanation how how it was done with some screenies. I'm assuming that this was all done on the up-and-up, and the "strategy" involved didn't include any bug exploits.

As a lvl60something with like 2k health, your whole strat there would be to avoid getting hit, as even with good synth and 8k kin armor, you'd not be able to survive long against a cl94 hitting you. The "duelist stance macro" part of that is essentially a waste if you're planning on kiting the dragon, as it would require you to stand still to activate, which is a big downer to kiting. I'd have to see this to believe it.

The whole key is to not get hit. It's not hard, you just have to know how to do it.
Kite them in a circle so they don't retreat, keep them constantly snared, save kd for when you miss your snare, keep a bleed on them, and never drop your action too far in case you need it for something. By the end, you'll be on his ass rather than him on yours, and would have plenty of time to stand still for a duelist stance. I often found myself having to stop, because otherwise I'd run right into him.
It takes far too long to be worth it IMO. All Krayts for that matter, with loot the way it is, but especially soloing Ancients. Pearls suck regardless, you can get good tissue from any of them, and you only need decent ones to cap damage with a good WS, and I don't need 1000 Mandalorian Intraframes.

Using the duelist stance macro dosnt force you to stand still, just when it is needed, and it lasts for 30 seconds which is the timer between KD's so you could stand still while he is KD'd. Also I understand 8K armour gives about 50% mitigation and then you can get 40% of that done with synth steack meaning you are only getting hit for 25%. And I dont plan on standing toe to toe, this is for if it gets close.

Well, All you have to do is drag into nearby heards like banthas andeat warrel surprise, won won, and nutrion pixie and have5k kinetic armor.

Jedi cannot solo necrosis any more, not with the AI nerf............
And we sure as hell cannot solo Ancients.. I think its time you all zipped your lips on jedi now.
That is because you have to stand right next to it to hit.
