A regular profession can heal twice as good as a Jedi? you mean a master doc? If someone goes master doc they would have way less dmg than a Jedi. not to mention Jedi can heal on their back. Sure I can do 2x more dmg than a Jedi. if i have no healing and they arent a master defender. mrifle/carb 0410/pistol 4004/cm4000 with a 1300 (pwped up) rifle can do around 1200 damage per 2sec cycling headshot with legshot and body shot. And they aint even using snipershot. Or how about a mbh with a 1300 rifle using Critical shot with a rifle sliced on %'s of critical damage. I have tried this myself and i got to hit for 3200 damage (without armor mitigation). Mdefs have 7000 armor (same as avarage normal armor) thats 42% mitigation i believe? thats still around 1700 damage a shot. A mLS with a capped saber 800 max damage (thats worth around 100mill btw) who uses armorbreak then powerattack(biggest damage modifier for jedi) hit for 1300 damage on some1 with 7k armor and thats armorbroken ! .
sure there may be 1000 Jedi per server and twice as many BHs, remove the Jedi free ALTs and watch the BH numbers drop. ofc bh's will drop because most ppl do bh for the pleasure of killing jedi (thats me) or for the money and i still think most bh's dont have a jedi and just bh to grief jedi because they are somewhere jealous
You really arent taking in all the facts here. Sure I can out dmg a Jedi, until I run out of action, which goes way quicker than a Jedi's force/action mind saber moves. MDEFs can dodge and block like crazy, making my crits like they were normal attacks. Jedi can heal and use stims on their backs and get they get debuffs.
Let's also look at another fact here, the GCW is dead because of Jedi. the only overts I see are Jedi since you really dont stand a chance VS a fully buffed, prepared Jedi. Sure there are certain templates that can hang a lot longer, but that forces everyone to be Jedi or the FOTM to compete. That aint good. I really think you need to learn your character before you come here saying you arent 1.5, FOTM Jedi might even be 2x better. learn your character and you will see it's power.
A normal player can do that to 'center of bein' If you buy +50 in accuracy tape and use food and have basicly over 300 accuracy u will hit alot. Most mdefs dont have mLS and they block 1 out of 4-5 shots.I just proven you we arent 1.5 stronger so what the hell are you saying? what makes jedi 1.5x stronger?
People are jedi because we arent stronger but its more fun. But even worse gcw in chimaera aint dead its dominated by rifleman. Starport pvp is mostly jedi always have been always will be. but starport pvp isnt gcw or even pvp its just ganking. Real pvp as in attacking bases Happens daily on chimaera and the team who wins is the team who has the most rifleman working together.
Jedi got debuffs? They got Sap which actually i got it on my jedi but i dont use it. You need to have over 200 ranged accuracy to even get it to hit it uses alot of force only lasting 1minute 30%-35% which basicly is useless. My rifleman/cm/carb/pistol had a1300 damage with pwp T21 ADK'd 95sac. But i can shoot forever if i take in 4 foods : scrimpi,booster,blowcandy(or bofa threat whatever does +185 regen) and mando wine....
so explain me again how are they 1.5x stronger. Normals do 1.5x more damage 2x better healing 2x better debuffs same enhancements. Only thing jedi got is Forcerun/avoid incap/regain cons. Do 2 escape moves (forcerun/regain cons) and 1 tank move make them better and kill you?

Mainly, there's no need in it. I'd go for an Underworld faction and other professions on the terminals. But that means that the DEVs would have to fix the content of other professions.

What you suggest is obviously skewed toward making the already peaceful life of a Jedi even more serene, by placing even more restrictions on Hunters.
Maybe if you take your idea and tweak it so that a MBH on BH faction status could hunt any Jedi at will with no need of checking the terminals, talking to spies and launching droids .... the BH community might have been more receptive.
Hunting any jedi at will isnt really starwars-ish becuz u need to have contracts etc. I would love to be able to place bounty's on people on the terms would be an awsome ide. And do i really make the life of a jedi more peacefull and serene: by basicly only effect to jedi is that they cant get incapped by 10 rebs or imps and the bh just bikes by gets off his bike db's without doing anydamage
10000 Jedi per sever living between Ep IV and Ep V isn't very Star Wars(ish) either.
Bounty Hunter's (EDIT: in real life) do not need contracts to take down marks. If the person is a known criminal a BH can get them and turn them in for the loot.
In this timeframe, ALL Jedi are known criminals, so sayeth Palpy = the law.
So, any arguement (from a realistic perspective) saying that a BH shoudn't be able to engage a saber-monkey at will is futile at best.
When you became a Jedi, you realized that you were subject to Bounty Hunters at all times. You expect sympathy just because you declared SF and now you can't tell your hunter from the others? Get real.
What you aresuggesting is no different than the normals community suggesting that Jedi be removed fromt he GCW altogether.
You have to decide whether you want your cake, or if you would rather eat is because you cannot do both.
