Why would the devs not want paddies to be killed as often? That's the most non sensical remark you've made in a night of buffoonery. Why does it matter what level they are, unless you suggest the devs have a bias to see all chars as getting an easy route to jedi. You might as well suggest just removing player bounties.
I suppose,as soon all chars would be jedi in this odd world of yours, then they'd only have one prof to work so hard to break repeatedly, so you may have a point ....
Yes! killing padawan is boring.
However, I don't think they can allow us to choose the difficulty of the mark without promoting a culture where padawan get repeatedly ganked and knights are only rarely hunted. I understand why they made the change and the unfortunate side effect is that I spend a lot more time killing newbies.

Because come on, 1,2,3, or even 5 BH's I would not think would be able to touch a Jedi Master, lol
I'm thinking that the way they intend FRS Jedi to die is by overt gank squads since FRS Jedi should be perma-overt.
I also think that if you pull a mission on a FRS Jedi and he's being attacked by overts, the BH TEF will kick in and he will only be attackable by the BH (you).
This is the only logical direction that the recent changes can go.

When you say 25k do you mean EXTRA payout or did it drop the payout from the originally posted pay? I've noticed that Jedi missions now generate random payouts over 30000 so what happens when a 25000 Jedi lands on the terminal?
The reward I got was 25k total. I got some message saying the the bounty hunter guild reduced my payment because the assignment wasn't tough enough. It seems the original bounty structure is still in place, we just don't know what the price is for the Jedi until he/she is dead. So us BH are really going in blind. If the seeker gives a name, that can help a bit, but if not, BH could get a squat 25k or be up against a full template who eats MBH for snacks.
I'm agreeing with you Caix. I'd never take a mission on a jedi who is under 100k. Just doesn't make any sense. The NPC missions are more of a fight, pay betterand they can drop phat loot.
I think the devs made the change so that the innocent noob jedi would get reamed. The knight jedi of course were all for it since the noob BH would be forced to face them.
