Thread: TC Publish 21 BH Notes......a joke?
I'm very happy with all the above. Sounds like the following to me:
Kash los fixed. Excellent
No jedi accepting lifts from friends and then sitting in the middle of a lake. Marvellous
Some nice loot drops off high level npc bounties. May be interesting.
the first 2 are going to make life a lot, loteasier.
Yeah I agree should keep us happy (fora while!).
Lets hope the devs can turn their attention to creature handlers now......

i did start to resent afk house sitters ...but as forajedi who escaped, its each individuals job to try and stay alive .. sure i may have tried to coherse jedi to come out of their house by telling them they had no honor, but at the end of the encounter i would /tell em saying i wasnt angry i was just roleplaying and trying to get em out .. and let them know i would have proly done the same thing ...
so none of the changes ... really were that much of a hoot for me cept the LOOT ... i
as far as the LOOT goes ..ive been thinking about it ... and thats an awesome change ...we BH need the money .. we need the better equipment ...i think the devs are throwing us a bone which we dont see right away ... if lucas arts tells the devs " you cant make anyone challenge the jedi template" ... well maybe the devs figured this >"if we give BH a great way to make money .. they will be able to challenge jedi with better equipment" .. therefore leveling us up in power not through a template change but through equipment change.... this way they can effectively sneak in more power to us ..without pissing offthe lucas arts suits or whoever their bosses are, who want to make sure jedi remain the cash crop and outbalanced in power ...
so you see .. it IS lots of love ... just diguised a little ... its like they snuck out behind their bosses back .. and gave a starving hungry dog a nice meal ...
our equipment will balance us agaisnt jedi

he does have a point, but it would have to be some REALLY fgood equipment for us to be able to take on mdef/mls jedi, burt i like the idea of money
Remember that jedi got alt BHs too. So jeid will also prolly be able to get the loot too. I'm not sure they can use all of it, but I think they will benefit as much as BH does of the most loot.
Just a simple SOE mindtrick to lure jedi players to keep paying for thier BH alt accounts.
Therefor I dont see ANY special BH-love in this publ...either
The rest of the publ is common bug fixes that should have been done LONG time ago. NO BH love there either.
WoW! Now why on Earth would they do that? it's not like the Bh's don't grief their targets or cry everyday on the forums for Nerfs and no matter what the devs give them they still cry and complaind and want more is it? The worse thing the Devs ever did was give players the abilty to hunt each other. I thought it would be alot of fun in the begining when I was grinding MBH way back in 2003 but then I saw all the things that come with it from the community........

You are correct. I grinded MBH back before mounts and vehicles. I also hunted Jedi as a MBH and have NEVER dropped MBH. I also unlocked my Jedi before patch 10. You see I know both sides of the story and not just the Narrow minded view of either side....
our promised "love" is going to be low-grade loot from high-level bosses.

Jargal, your hatred for Jedi is growing past just being laughable, but just plain pathetic!
Even when the Devs give you guys some good attention in a publish, YOU have to twist it all up turn it around into an Anti-Jedi "Oh it's all just a ploy to kiss up to the Jedi!" type thing! So what if Jedi have BH alts... those alts are STILL BH's! What you need to do really is to either one, learn that this is JUST A GAME, and we are ALL JUST PLAYING A GAME, and at least TRY to enjoy it. Or two, step away from the keyboard, and try playing something just a LITTLE less stressful on ya. My 12 year old son likes Pok'emon on the gameboy, maybe that could be more your speed.

Isn't that ironic. BH looting power crystals that can only be used by the one's that they need to keep the population down on.

I beleive this added publish is possibly for the purpose of getting out of the minds of some Bounty Hunters that their sole purpose for their profession is to hunt Jedi.
that is not the case at all. I left BH because, when I did Bounty hunter (originally) i hadto run everywhere and the target vanished etc.
I took it up again and the NPC bounties were easily beatable. Hunting Jedi was good PvP content.
I think this publish is a very good addition to the Bounty Hunter. And dont rush to judgement so quickly that the loot is going to be bad from "boss" npc bounties. Again, a player bounties will generally pay higher and that is very cool, but adding this will be able to give the Bounty Hunter a chance to get some good loot from an Npc on their level as well.
I love it when a Bounty Hunter comes for me, I get that scared rush of wondering if I will win or lose (mostly lose). BUt if I were to say I am a bit envious of the publish for BH, that would be a fair statment. I would love for jedi to have loot specific Jedi missions.
I think Bounty Hunters will enjoy this publish when you get your first armor schematic looted.

/agree I think the loot is a nice addition to BH. I get tired of hunting Jedi PCs all the time.
