One important thing to remember when you are weapon shopping. The max damage is not nearly as important as the min damage. I know many of you are saying WHAT?!? but it is true. You are more than likely going to run into Jedi with at least def 0040 if not more in the defender line. This means that they will be running an Aura macro (COB for jedi) and there defenses will get a +500 boost. What this means is that unless you have very high accuracy your weapon will be hitting for it's min instead of max. So the higher your min is the better off you will be.
