I'm very close to becoming a novice Bounty Hunter. All I need is 15k of carbine xp for carbines IV. I have been preparing for Bounty Hunter for awhile. I have aquired 2 Light Lightning Cannons, a scatter pistol, a nym's slug thrower (I plan to use my remaining 33 skill points on Carbineer 0-4-0-3), and a republic blaster. I was wondering is any of u BHs out there could tell me what else should I have in my arsenal

Thanx

Looking for the Highest damaging Master Bounty Hunter weapons... I don't care about price, rarity, or difficulty to obtain... So, if anyone knows what are some of the ultimate highest damage dealing weapons for a Master BH, with NO OTHER profession, please. (IE. don't tell me that the riffleman's blah, blah, blah, is really cool...)

Thanks in advance!!

The highest damaging pistol will be a Featherweight FWG5 since there is no Profession certification involved - you'll just need to be leve 54 to use it. The highest damaging carbine for you will either be an Elite Carbine or Czerka Dart Carbine (Kinetic Damage). Your most powerful rifle will either be an Advanced Laser Rifle or a Heavy Lightning Rifle. I personally prefer the Heavy Lightning Rifle.

Scatter Pistol has a max damage cap of: 948

Proton Carbine has a max damage cap of: 923

Heavy LLC has a max damage cap of : 1150

There may be some other MBH weapons but those are the ones I have. However, it isnt all about max damage. It is about high min damage and low SACs. Buy a damaged capped Scatter with a SAC of 100+ and you're a moron

I do. A high end heavy LLC can do 1150 max damage as well as have a SAC of 80ish. I always open with my LLC from 65m starting with Advanced Stopping Shot. Gives me 30secs to wail on em in complete safety.

No I didn't he asked what was the most powerful weapons for a Master BH and since these weapons have no Profession Certifications they are usuable by someone with only MBH. If he wants to weaken himself by limiting himself only to the MBH weapons then substitute a Scatter for the Featherweight and make HLR his only option.

Thanks for the replies...

Let me do a little clarification as to what I was looking for, in addition to the info already given...

I have been a master pistoleer since Aug. 2003, and I'm switching to master bounty hunter, I was just asking what high damage dealing weapons would be my options at mbh. I've been a master combat medic since Oct. 2003 as well...

Thanks again!!

He asked specifically "Looking for the Highest damaging Master Bounty Hunter weapons"

Just a matter of interpretation I guess. If he would have said, "what are the best weapons I can use at MBH" then I would have looked at his question differently. However, when he said "Looking for the Highest damaging Master Bounty Hunter weapons" it seemed to me he was asking what the best MBH cert weapons were.

If indeed he was wondering what the best weapons in general he could use a MBH I personally feel he worded his question poorly.

No mostly you're just reading it too literally for argument's sake. MBH weaponscould easily be considereda superset of both MBH certs and all prerequisite certs. Besides, what value would a response of the max-damage MBH certed weapons be if there were higher damage MBH-prereq-certed weapons? =p

Yes, I do read questions from other posters literally!

Asfar as why someone would want MBH weapons over more powerful non-MBH weapons is roleplaying! Personally, even though I can get better weapons, I prefer to use my Scatter, Proton, and HLLC over non-MBH cert weapons. But that is just me
