I agree. Kill them all regardless if theyr AFK. It's their choise to leave the toon open for attacks. If you hold your toon dare - log off.

If AFK combat macros were taken out of the game there would be 95% less jedis running around, since the majority of them are in fact too lazy to grind it manually.

REMOVE THE COMBATMACROS PLZ.

I see no point at all with them, its only for lazy or exploiting players.

It is kinda funny, if you think about it.

Say they were declared Special Forces when they go AFK...they could have logged to the Character Selection screen, they could have gone on leave, they could have done a lot of things. They had to go to the bathroom and decided to leave their character someplace they HOPED would be safe - I HOPE to win the lottery, but that hope hasnt given me any luck yet. If someone is Special Forces and leave the keyboard while the toon is somewhere vulnerable, then they are taking a gamble and can sometimes lose that gamble.

Another example, you are in DWB (which is known for being very tough) and decide to go AFK. It's PvE, but it is also not a safe place. If your toon gets wasted while you were AFK, its your fault, not the games fault.

So now we get to AFK Jedi. Should the rules be different for them than they are for an AFK Spec Forces dude or someone AFK in DWB? The answer is HELL NO!!! When you go AFK, you are taking a chance/gambling that nothing will happen to you while you are away. There are many situations where the Jedi can hedge their bet, by sitting inside a house, inside a City structure, or even sitting in their Spaceship. If a Jedi CHOOSES to go AFK in a location that leaves them vulnerable to attack, then it is their fault for choosingunwisely. It is an indication that the Player might not be cut out for the riggors of playing a Jedi.

RIGHT on..

i couldnt agree more!!

some of my guildies and ihave made it our personal goal to fight afk grinding....i have a pre-CU, pre-rryatt trail jedi and never afk'd even 1 jedi xp and nothing pissed me off more than seeing people doin all the work while they sleep...specially when they post with the excuse "well i wouldnt have time to grind otherwise"

each night lately we take missions until we have killed enough of them to collapse each group in the trails...kill enough (specially their full temp helpers) and they crumble

im sure they will all afk their way there eventually...but i plan to see i do as much as possible to heed their process in the mean time

and the payouts arent too bad either

Glad to see there's someone else who likes to 'clean out' the Ryatt trail whenever he gets the chance.

Too bad your not on Bloodfin, I fear im the only one clearing out the undeserving Jedi..

Ok, ive ready many stories on the forums of BH who find their mark AFK and "have mercy" on him or "wont fight attack him then out of respect/honor".

These punks have ENOUGH BREAKS ALREADY, what they dont need is a large segment of BH who actually lose thier stomache for the hunt when they see they have the advantage in a situation. We BH rarely have ANY advantage and as a BH you are supposed to use every possible thing to your advantage (not Exploits) anyways.
Leaving your Jedi afk is THE WORST crime in being a Jedi.
  • It is a complete disregard for the supposed 'danger' of being a Jedi.
  • It is a blatant disregard for the care of thier xp loss/gain.
  • It is a LAZY JEDI who deserves every last number of the XP lost.
So I implore you, as a Jedi myself and as a fellow BH....
KILL YOUR MARK REGARDLESS OF IF THEY ARE AFK OR JPS (just plain stupid).
That is all...

I killed a 226k mission last night while he was AFK. He did not have an AFK tag above his head and even if he did I would have still killed him. Ever seen people put the AFK tag over their heads while running around to not get bothered? There is no mechanic to tell me whether or not this guy is actually there so I assume he is.

To the jedi that feels the needs to tell you to come back and fight him "fair" while he is at the keyboard tell him,

"I have fulfilled my bounty hunter obligations. When your life is requested to be terminated againI shall return and hope to have the same encounter."

Or, "If you seek a fair fight, ditch the 1.5 times powerful jedi, and pick up my template. Then we can discuss "fair." Till then, I will continue to gain any competitive advantage possible against a profession balanced to be 1.5 times better then mine."

I didn't just kill my mark who was AFK. I also destroyed his speeder. I did feel a little bad afterwords because the guy was actually nice about it. Maybe I shouldn't have destroyed his speeder. Hmm now that I think about it I did the right thing. I had to make sure he couldn't get away (even tho he was already dead).
