Thread: Bounty Hunting On Kashyyyk S@#&^
You don't have to know their names. You just have to know their faction. They don't fill up all the instances of the Rryatt Trail. At most I've only seen 3 groups -- and that's during peak hours. Most of the time there are only 2 groups grinding there. If you know the faction makeup of the 2 groups you know which instance to start looking in.

Well, it's apparent someone isn't familiar with the new BH system.
Someone in my guild would constantly make trail runs, reporting who is on each trail. If someone pulled a kash mission, they would report whoever they saw on any instance that they visited prior to getting their mark.
However, since we don't have NAMES we can't do that any more.
I did a search for this postI had previously made, have fun and kill them on Kashykk it is like shopoting fish in a barrel, you just have to lean how to do it (the record I talk about in the post has increased by at least 3 more).
Leave theKashykk Jedis where they want to be , it is the easiset way to kill them it just takes effort.I speak from first hand exprience so save your breath if you think I am crazy.
I have gone out and done it.
Step 1 Getting to the instances is easy and you will find half of them afk, easyway to rack up kills. Get the trail guide quest, go to the three levels and you will never have to fight your way to web weaver path again, you can just instantly warp there from the gate.Be creative on how to avoid the spiders getting to the wookie village, spend sometime at the front to see how Jedi get there (they have it down to a science and won't get hit, I would rather not post how to do it, you need to see it yourself...it is quite an education and every jedi reading this post knows what I am talking about) spend one night just watching, visit every intance, take a list of names down, more to keep track of how populated the instances are. As an example I go to one certain instance first and usually find my mark, only because the jedis love this one instance, this may vary form server to server, you have to find the rhythm of your server.
When you see them grouped in their tight circle in the village use tab and cycle thorugh the radials, you will see the "attack" on the radial thus indentifying your mark.
Here is my Kashykk record , out of about15 tries , where I actually showed up to Kashykk (I have never died but dropped at least 10 due from the engagement parameters not bieng what they should be ) I have gotten a 226, 223, 138, 132 and a 50 only recieving a few hits from the 138 guy. You will find that 50% are afk, 25% always run for the bridge and dont know how to PvP , and if you use stopping shot after a KD, torso, crit combo then follow it up with torso, crit, torso, crit, torso crit it is over in under 30 seconds before they get to the bridge, nothing fancy, no buffs, food, special armor etc..all you need is a bad a$$ weapon .
Then the last 25% are going to kick your ass if you face them head on, sideways, sneakily, from behind, when they are dueling, when they are pre occupied , when they are afk and show up with most of their bar gone..... however you want to attack and even if you have every advantage you will get your face kicked in. You have to have instinct when to drop those missions...that is the real key on Kashykk when NOT to attack.
It is not that hard you just have to keep plugging away.
Please post to this thread if you go out and kill a jedi using these techniques, to encourgae other BHs not to whine about Kashykk if the devsever take Kashykk away from being a Jedi grind world, they will be taking the easiest Jedi killing ground in the game.

Observation: AFK Kash grinders don't care about faction. They'll grind together no matter what.

Spoken like Jedi are something special now. Last I checked they were nerfed into oblivion. So what if it's hard for a BH to hunt them on Kashyyyk. I guess that BH's will just have to be better at their profession. This is an online game, talk to other players, set up a network of "Spies" that can report the locations of your marks. But stop whining about it in the forums.
The "No Droids" rule should not stop you, just force you to be more creative.
You are such a smart-a$$ - without the name of the jediwhat should his spies report ? -> "No Droids" rule should not stop you <- yeah right, when the droids give the name of the mark... You only get the name within 1000m of the Mark by using a Droid. Next time you tell someone to be creative try to use your brain.

The person said Jedi were Nerfed. Yea they used to be like 20x better and now are only 1.5 but they had it waaaay harder back then and pretty easy now. With Kash, they can really not worry about the majority of BHs, maybe like 5% or less actually go there regularly. And your logic of how seekers shouldnt work on kash is the same logic that most Jedi use as to why they should be better (WE ARE JEDI WE SHOULD BE BETTER)
It's a game, Jedi are 1.5 better and have it so easy. They can AFK grind on Kash and maybe die once in a while. They get mad XP there, have LOS and /duel to help them not die. Most of the things that give Jedi a hard time are removed by grinding on Kash, yet once maxed they are always going to have a better template than any nonJedi
The comment in red is what makes kashykk such a safe place to be and the reason behind it is for the most part the LOS Exploit that must be fixed. Any other reason is because the BH is just to impatient or too lazy which like you said maybe less the 5% actually go there.
The logic behind seekers not working there well there isn't any. The Devs quite obviously can't get them to work and are using the adventuring planet reply as a coverup. I do feel that you should still recieve the name of the mark upon arriving to the planet. To make it senseble they could put a spynet at the SP that only gives the name since anyone going to kashykk has to go through the SP it would make sense.
As far as the Mad XP gain well I don't see it.During the last Double XP week I grinded there. Despite the claims I would say the actual Rate per hour is probably around 100-150k/hour. Those saying 300-400k/hour or more are overly exaggerating or it was during Double XP where i could see those numbers. I was 0044 LS pre-CU and I could grind out about 450k in a buff session so I'd say the trail is about the same as that maybe slightly more so I don't get the MAD XP idea. I also could do that without ever making the terminals, and it wasn't from one of the pre-CU broken spawns. I'm full template and get 1200 XP per kill with inspiration buff with Full group. A lower level will get less XP per Kill.
Kashykk is not a safe place because seekers don't work or because BH's don't get names. It's safe because BH's choose not to bother going there. If the LOS bug was fixed I do feel that more and more would start showing up and less Jedi would be willing to grind there considering they can get more XP in a grinding group on another planet and avoid visibility all together.
No flame intended to the person I quotedI'm just commenting on it.
