hi ppl, i will soon be a Novice BH, and was wondering about the bountyhunter Mission. As i understand it Bh's can take NCP bountys from the term or Player Jedi bountys from the Terms. How do you take a mission on a jedi if not on the terminal? or can you even do it? can we take other bountys on players (non-jedi Profs), like smuggler, rifleman etc... as i would think that smugglers would be high on the BH hit list as well as Jedi.

true.

Both jedi and npc missions can be selected form the bh terminal. The terms are mixed with both jedi and npc missions. You can identify a jedi mission by it´s payout ( 25K or higher). Lower then 25K means it´s an NPC mission. You need to have investigation 3 before you can hunt (see the jedi missions in the term) jedi.

You can not track/attack a jedi when you don´t have his mission. if the jedi isn´t in the board, you can not hunt him for a bounty.

Jedi-player missions and NPC missions are currently the only missions available

hope that helped ya

****** I totally own jedi.... well if their mission payout is 48K ******

****** I killed mister (AFK) a lot! ******

sorry, i didn't read the post that well the first time.

Your other option is to do the jedi a favor by granting him visibility. They gain visibility whenever they use their force powers or lightsaber within 32 meters of an NPC or another player. You can figure out the rest

Be warned though, you will likely be accused of harrasing players and then you have to get into an argument with this guy like I did.

unfortunately unless you have a mission on them you cannot attack them unless you are both overt members of opposing factions...my experience is that unless there is a big PvP gathering somewhere, most jedi stay covert to avoid just such an encounter....oh yeah JEDI WHINE TOO MUCH!!! lol

Ok... here is my problem. I am new to hunting Jedi. I found my mark dueling another Jedi in front of the Theed Starport. When I saw him get low on health I attacked. Bad thing is..... lag was so bad bad my /deathblow command would not go off. But the whole time he his pissed and screaming calling mea gank noob.

Normally I am not concerned what others think of me. But I am curious.... did I do something wrong or did I do the right think of sitting in the shadows and picking my right opportunity to strike? I am not normally in the mood to let a jedi know ahead of time that I am going to attack him. No need in giving him time to get buffed to high he** and waiting for me.

Anyways.... is there a particular code a good hunter follows? Or is he just whining because he almost died? Thanks for any input.

The only rule i follow as a BH is getting the job done as quickly and neatly as possible... if that means sneaking up on a grinding, dueling, afk etc. target, then so be it, a mark is a mark. Jedi should be ready at all times to defend.

Theed Starport is the best spot for your Jedi to be. Show no mercy in killing him when his health is low. Maximizes creds per effort,

Would be nice to go there, take names. Go to terms, search for name. Go back. Watch. DB when time is right.

I never thought of this before right now, lol. Did anyone do this back when the terms still had names? Gah, I am mad at myself now.

Yes, and it's exactly why missions no longer have names.

From an immersion stand point this is exactly why missions should have names.

I agree with you, but leave it to the few bad apples to ruin things for everyone. A-holes were using it as a way to grief certain individuals.
