I have done 2 things...

#1 Pretend to be a fawning newb with cheap clothes onat the starport and beg the mark to show me his ace helmet (aka equip it). When he did, I woould unload on him, and hed get so flustered hed forget to take off the helmet. Basically you stoke their ego for a bit, telling them how cool they look, maybe ask them for some advice or a bit of money, then open up on them while hes messing around in his inventory or typing up a response.

#2 Pretend to be Chinese loot farmers. Dress in your noob clothes, have 2 friends follow you around on auto-follow not saying anything dressed the same as you are, and fake bad english and start asking the mark for money. Have one of your freinds fake bad english and start begging him for money. When the mark turns to address or ignore the 'beggar', back off and then unload on him.

One of the best I saw wasa MBHasking for help on a Vette kill for Pilot. Loaded up a group inc his mark into his Nova Courier, went and killed the vette, then when they landed, he killed his Jedi gunner :-) In fact on that kill at least 3 of the Nova's crew had his mission hehe.

I attacked a mark at acity's 2 yearanniversary celebration. There were 50+ people there from both factions. I foughthim for probably 20 minutes till he ran out of force and tried to run off. I tracked him down about 5 minutes later and got the DB. I got more hate tells that day that ever before. It was great. Also got a lot of support from same faction BH's and guildies.

I hate to blow my cover as to my ingame identity but I witnessed this. It took a few minutes for everyone to figure it out. They turned on the jedi that the jedi was fighting for a second. It was a very nice bit of bounty hunting. I say the less work you do the better.

I did win the non-jedi portion of the tournament though.

Another note. I deathblowed this very same jedi in Theed while he was pvping and I was onleave at the time about a week after Grymace did his deed.

Here is one I posted a while back, not so sneaky or decietfull, just about being persistant.


"3 days ago I got a mission for a Kashyyyk Grinder, and like everytime I get a mission on Kash I go for it! I make tons of money off of AFK Knights there, and sometimes Paddies.

Well that day it was a Paddie, and when I got there guess what he did?

Thats right he ran to the LoS spot. I tried laying down some basic camp kits for about 4 hours to try and get a target on him, but I guess you just can't do it without a bigger camp.


I submitted 2 tickets about him exploiting, I am positive no CSR read or cares about them, anyways...

The smug little b*stard is all "I'll just stay afk while I sleep just to piss u off" So I logged there after 4 hours of camping him, and trying to target him... the next morning i log back on and he is still there so I submit another ticket...

Anyways i get bored of him and leave to do other stuff, when he come back to the keyboard i tell him I am still after him and basically make him stay in his house on tat for a long time.

Today he asks me whether or not I still have his mission and I tell him no, he thinks I am telling the truth. /evil grin

I wait a while, then I go to Kash and search all the instances and I find him, but this time I burst run right up to him and root/crit/leg/kd/crit/leg ... I need a better carbine

Anyways turns out he was in the bathroom and his Macro was healing him... I got the DB and the money ... 175k it was sweet that after 3 days I caused him a little grief, lol, an old guildie of mine grinding with him offered to pay me off all I said was "not this one, this one gets no mercy"

yah it's pretty hard to be deceitful now that every jedi does the duel/end duel exploit.

Great stories guys , here is my best one from my now retired wookie MBH MCH (I hunt with my other toon now):

Ilaunch a droid and it tells me he is in Kashykk space.

I did one just yesterday, My mark was at DWB wating for a group so i ask if anyones got a group i get an invite from a jedi i had dueled earelir he was saying though im not a jedi im a good fighter (as i beat him in a duel) my mark is also in the group, were just about ready to go in, and my marks like damn real life probs got to log, and he dosent log out just discons big LD above his head i blow him away, while eveyones screaming at me waht are u doing etc. just before i applied the DB i left group to get full payout. the other jedi are like your out of order u must be the worst bh ever! and i simply say hes dead i got paid

i did one that was pretty neat. Im a rebel and i find hes at nyms. Well i am not SF, but this rebel jedi is. and guess what? hes fighting my Mark! yippie. I /tell the rebel "hey hes my BH mark, whats he to you". At the time he was losing pretty bad and tells me "thanks a bunch" (implying i'd help) so of course i oblige. i wait until my new buddy almost has the mark, then boom, root, KD, critical, intimidate. He tries to go for a swim.. Hes in the river like 60m away (im a pistoleer) he just sits there. Crack out my nice HLR Bang bang bang. He dead, and i get paid for like 2 mins work. 219k i think it was.

yah that duel /endduel gives away our only advantage. it pisses me off honestly. Whats the good of "dressing in n00b cloths" or "being in his grinding group" or "sneaking into the same PvP tourny" or "pretending to have pearls to sell" if he can just have a macro:

/ui action cycle target out;
/duel;
/endduel;

and figure out U got his mission?

Oh man, I have been lmao for the last 10 minutes reading these.

I am only novice BH right now, and can't wait until I can hunt Jedi and have stories like this to tell.

You guys are also giving me some great ideas.

heres one from the other side of the fence im full template opn my jedi toon out helping others grind the other we had an opsite faction bh friend hunting with us

i tracked my mark to the DWB on endor. he was there alone so i chatted with him a bit and invited him to my group to head in and camp the top. unfortunatly i had to alt-tab to show my dad soemthing and we aboth died to npc's. but he tried logging out in the marauder cave about 15 minutes later so i killed him.
