Thread: NERF THE JEDIS!!!!
evarr, im beginning to think that you may be one of the more ignorant people ive seen post here. the bitching is being done about bounty hunters having a RANGED knockdown. the fact that you claim youve never been knocked down by a bounty hunter tells me youre either lying about doing any pvp, or the bhs on your server are pitiful.
now get off our message boards, poser.
Nerf the lightsaber!! how can i pvp against a jedi when he keeps blocking all my shots!!
Use a Laser Carbine. Lasers cant be blocked by Lightsabers. Before anyone says contrary, read the old Star Wars tech guides and Star Wars RPG info. Lightsabers can block Particle based weapons only, ie Blasters. Blasters fire an energized gas (plasma) wrapped in an energy cocoon (this is why they look like bolts) and acually require 2 fuel sources. An energy clip and a gas cartridge. Where as a Laser Carbine fires a beam of coherent light which is a energy wave, not particle and will pass thru the blade of a lightsaber.
Now, did SOE get it straight? I dont know. I havent fought someone who has a lightsaber.

I hate to tell you, but we know more about starwars then the devs plain and simple. It seems like SOE hired ppl who had no clue what they were doing when they made this game. SO thinking that a laser will go through the lightsaber, and that they actually took time to code SOMETHING SPECIFICLY, not just lay down one grand code for everyweapon, is highly unlikely to me. Im sure laser rifles will act the same way

if pc jedis are gonna be any were near as easy as the npc jedis ive hunted then most people wont even complain about them. ive taken down many jedis in groups(the smallest being 4) were no one died, except for an idiot who didnt follow the strategy.
but besides, this was a funny post.

Ya know, I may agree with you if it wasn't the incessant whining of Bounty Hunters that got CH's nerfed to non-existance. But until BH has been nerfed down to where a CH can fight them again, I think we need to see more BH nerfs.

Heh, as someone else stated: what makes you think that creature handlers should be able to destroy bounty hunters? Creature handleing is just that.. TAMING AND HANDELING. They should NOT be able to take down one of the most effective combat classes in the game. Period. Now, get off our forums.
