Best time for loot, regardless of Mob is immediately after a server reset.

Will you just look at this forum now - the devs have turned us all into "lewt horz", next thing you know you will see groups of BHs duelling outside Theed SP and conning newbs out of their Barcs in Mos Eisley

i have had 2 days in a row without any loot except smuggler items.
