I love spray shot just the way it is, for some reason I still get some amusement out of heading out to dense level 1-3 spawns and nuking the lot
, I may never use it for anything real, but I do love it for the amusement factor, its also earnt me a fair few CDEF carbines along the way from low level npc's

i have used it in group PVE and usually just gets you killed. Group PVP i have never used it to be honest, getting all those players in a narrow angle is difficult. Just ask a carbineer with full auto area. Its a limited use special that really doesnt help the bounty hunter in NPC or Player missions.
Just learn to use it in PVE--hint:it usually involves a lot of running--and don't worry about waiting for your enemies to line up in the neat little cone in PVP, just alternate it with your other attacks.

I'd like to see spray shot do alittle more damage, but not as much as I'd like to see torso shot do more bleeding damage

wow, i had no idea howmany people rather keep spray shot they way it is. My entire guild of bounty hunters never use spray shot ever. We all do jedi and nps missions. I guess there must be a sizable amount of players out there that invest in the bounty hunter profession just for the skills and abilities and less for the actually act of bounty hunting. I know a few players on my server that are master bounty hunters but just do group pve and pvp. I drastically under estimated that population.
Spray shot before the combat upgrade was a high power shot that did a dizzy, stun, and a blind. Then was changed to an AOE move that for many of my fellow bhs that i personally know don't use it ever. So i wanted to be something that is useful to the solo player and the group player alike. Since BH is a geared toward a 1 on 1 combat style that the AOE isnt really in the line of thought.
I prefer to go back to its original pre-CU concept, high damage shot but with limitations so its not an "I win" button and not a something that is spammed over and over.
I am posting to make the BH proffression better. If i was a jedi i would be posting in the jedi forum cause i know of a few force abilities that areless usefuland could use a change. However i am not advocating for the enemy.

that move really owned precu but its still a nice move and now that you can use it with more than a carbine you can switch between area attacks for more damage over time assuming you have another area attack.

AOE is useless when you hunt marks , players or NPCs. Absolutely useless. Tis is my conjucture.

Opps forgot about one use of the current form of spray shot. If a jedi cloaks, doesn't move, and there is an attackable target nearby you can do damage to the cloaked jedi with spray shot. However the jedi can use force heal while cloaked currently til the ranger revamp. so more of a nuisance than an effective tactic to completing a mission. Just trying to be honest.

It's useless against marks, but is a great general combat attack.

Depends how you use it. I have a hotkey for Jedi target <name> that is updated prior to battle. This way I can quickly target them when other junk mobs are around. There have been numerous times there is a vehicle on vehicle chase. I catch up within range, dismount, hit the quick target hotkey and shoot sprayshot. his vehiclegoes kaboomand I got him on foot again...to resume the fun

Spray shot isnt useful in its current form against an NPC or Jedi.

Actually they are not that bad of Ideas and only one is really geared towards Jedi.
Maybe an AoE Root, which would make it very useful in PvP or an AoE Armor Reduction, both with a long cooldown time.
No way, please remember what the ROLE of a BH is in this system...a TANK who accels in 1v1 fights. BH should have 0 AOEs as that is for those who pick templates to group PvP
