Thread: So...a Jedi runs from you and lives...How does that make them a sissy?
you don't deserve anything, if you can't make the kill its your own fault

They have nothing to loose from dying when full template so why do they refuse to give me what i deserve?

Weeeell, according to traditional rules of battle, the fleeing side is considered to be cowardly.
Especially if the running side is known for transforming into bigmouthes once his payout exeeds 200K.

And I don't run. I may kite and try to keep my distance, but once the fight starts, I'm not leaving it.
My stubbornness in this regard has led to my death on numerous occasions. Before the days of 2k-damage-three-times-a-second saber 'sploiting, there came times in fights when I knew I was going to lose. I kept pounding on the Jedi anyway because, unlike the Jedi, I am no coward.
When you consider wear and tear on equipment during a long fight, foods, spices, (and buffs pre-CU), and the cost to replace these consumables, the amount of time it takes to make back the money you have to spend easily adds up to several hours' grinding.
Lost XP = time to the Jedi.
Lost Credits = lost time to the BH.
Average kill 1K...that is 400 kills for one Jedi death...hmmm 15-20 kills per lair. 20 lairs for one death...hmmmm still not worth dying because some pizza eating, snow cone licking, 2 liter of mountain dew drinking, peanut M & M munching BH who hates his parents wants to call me a sissy...ROFL![]()
Sorry, but that IS funny...You all know who you are...and yes, me too, but I eat captain crunch too!!!
Woot...WTB- a food screen for my keyboard...anyone, anyone hehe

I agree with the costs you are mentioning about BHing, it is very expensive. But consider this, if a padawan stands his ground and kills you, that mission is now imediatly back on the terms with no grace period. You can go right back to the terminals after cloning and get the exact same mission.
bottom line, theres zero reason to fight.
Oh, and jedi gain xp about 2/3's as fast as you gain combat xp.. and the boxes go up to over 3 million xp, soweighing a -200k xp(average) hit every time a bh shows up over running is stupid

In my time as a Jedi, I have killed over 40 BH's, some were tough, others were easy, and I have always stood my ground. All of a sudden this one dude shows up and gives me a really tough fight and it took forever tokill him. Dude comes back and after another 7 minutes of pounding on each other and hisHAM barely moving I decided I'd rather live than take the chance of dying.
Since pub 19, healing is really more a matter of timing than skills for a Jedi and stims are a must.
So, I took off and he sents a tell "I'm going to tell people you are a runner." Hmmmm...Trying to make my pride take over for common sense? So he then tells me he won't hunt me anymore and sure enough dude shows up everywhere I do the rest of the night...I sent a tell back saying...You do your job and I'll do mine.
He continues calling me a runner and saying how I have no honor. The last time I checked I was the one who killed him the first time. So anyway, I wanted to get a take from all of you regarding this. Just because a Jedi decides to live doesn't make them weak. SWG is in a freaking BETA phase if you haven't noticed and I'm not dying just so some dude can say I stood my ground and died well. It seems kinda silly to me...

Tell anyone who says they'll tell others you're a runner that that's fine by you. BH's want a fight. Being known as a "runner" just means less hassle. Simple as that.
Jedi have no reason or advantage to fighting back against a BH. So, the fact that you ever do is simply a gift to the BH coming after you.
It's a BH's job to kill a Jedi.
It's a Jedi's job to not get killed by a BH. It's NOT the Jedi's job to kill the BH, or to defend themselves, simply to NOT DIE.
Who cares how you keep your xp in the positives, so long as you keep your xp in the positives.
/addignore the people who think honor can be judged by a video game, and let them tell everyone you're a runner. Then less folks will come after you - why would they spend a 1/2 hour or more to get to someone who will run and hide? Hell, as far as I'm concerned they're doing you a FAVOR by telling everyone you're a runner. And besides, most people won't give a hoot about whether you run or not.

How can anyone who kills people for money comment on someone else's "honor"?
The word is so overused and so cliched. "You have no honor" has become a substitute for what they're really saying "You're not doing what I want you to do".
