Thread: Being a Jedi is ILLEGAL, and with good reason.
I guess the animosity towards Jedi comes from the Emporer and Darth Vader (who are Dark Jedi themselves). Didthey not massacare a lot of children just for being Padawans. And, also to the easy credits that can be made by killing any active force user.
One thing that must be looked at before taking any bounty is that is this person really a criminal? And therefore do they deserve to be tracked down and killed without mercy. (I guess you can call me a Bounty Hunter with scruples:smileyhappy
But is a jedi that is helping others, heals someone, or basically keepingto themselves really a criminal. Thisis a lot different to a Smuggler who is smuggling weapons and drugs.

Call Bounty Hunters "scum" if you like, but the simple fact is that being a Jedi, and using "The Force" as a Jedi is ILLEGAL under imperial law.
And it is illegal for a good reason. "The Force," as they call it, corrupts those who use it, causing tem to have delusions of power and grandeur, and think that they are above the system of laws that the rest of us must abide by.
Case in point: The Jedi criminal Mace Windu attempted to assassinate an elected official, in A GANK SQUAD no less.
If you are familiar with the storylines of KOTOR and KOTOR2, you know that the Jedi have acted similarly in the past. The corruptive nature of the force cannot be denied. Do not be fooled by such examples as Yoda or Obi-Wan Kenobi. They are the exceptions; yet, still, they are cowards. Running from a fight they believed in to save their own lives is evidence that they truly only cared about themselves, and preserving their status as Jedi.
You will find examples of Jedi cowardice wherever you look; on the Ryatt Trail, running into private structures and locking the door, hiding in the middle of lakes...their greed, their arrogance, and their cowardice are without equal, and without limit.
If you know a Jedi, please report them to the proper authorities. They are dangerous, murderous savages; they believe they are, and they should be,superior in status and ability to everyone else. You may think that your Jedi "friend" likes you, but if you think he won't hesitate to kill you over a "premium Krayt pearl," you're only fooling yourself.

Your right. Of course so are rebels so when can we expect to take missions on any rebel from a BH terminal?
What I really want to know is, are these sort of post really caused by Jedi Envy???
Haven't got the time/patience/inclanation to grind Jedi therefore flame them???
I'm a MBH and I hunt Jedi. Dark Jedi only mind, because I beleive it helps thecause ofthe Rebellion.
However, in approx 13 Weeks, I'll be a Jedi too. Does this make me a bad person???
I thought jedi is illegal; VIA bounty hunter missions against them
Roleplay 9/10, but some of this is blown way off scale

So, may I ask, what was the point of your original post here, if not to slather us all in sarcasm? We get it, Jedi are displeased. We don't need you on the forum to tell us that; you already do every time you get DB'd.
Well, to be honest: It startedas sarcasm and during the middle I started to, what you call it..., to ... darn I am missing that one. I just couldnt stop myself. But I thought about to add a /sarcasm but since the OP didnt...
And Jedi displeased... Aren't we all in some way? Because of bugs and so on? And why does Jedi get all "the love"? If you check all boards it seems every prof wants something changed about Jedi. And since Jedi are not responsable for the pubs but the Devs are, it seems that they get a picture of: Everybody wants fixes/changes on Jedi, so we give it to them! But then everybody complains that Jedi get "all the love". Smuggler got the "love" with pub 19... Do they like it? Not all, maybe only a few. But that happens. But they are still displeased.Like every other prof.
The Devs will never be able to change the game so everybody is happy. Impossible.
But to be honest (again): I do understand your point. When I started this game a Jedi was rare. The first time I saw a Jedi? WOW. I couldnt believe it. Since I didnt even know about the forums and for some reason nobody told me about it: I didnt even know that it was possible! (But it was on the package you say? Yeah, I found that out later but hey: I saw Star Wars - Game - Online - BUY IT)
And now? Everytime you load into a "bigger" starport you will see and hear the typical Jedi sounds/animations. It is not the same anymore. But why? It is not because there are to many. But they are more or less forced into vis (besides the CU and group). The old perma-overt for Knights or a sudden attack by a BH... you get the picture.
Permadeath would not be solution. That would be like "You had your fun, now you gonna die"... But something else. There was a nice idea about an instance where Jedi will be banned to when they are killed by a BH. And they would have to do quests to get their vis down and so on. Sure, why not.
GCW? Yes, there is always a problem. But pre-cu I had more problems with CM. You could spot Jedi miles away. but the CM sneaked up on you like a "weak" pistoleer and boom your Mind-Bar was black....
I could go on and on with timeline/Jedi/Rebel/... but we all know that. My point is (YES he has a point! Now tell us you *beep*): We should stop the flaming (me, you, Jedi, BH, everybody) and start to fix this game with one big topic:
Every single player wants to have fun and play this game how he wants to play it. This is not really possible but we can at least try to stay close to it.

You really think that other professions that don't involve jedi have been more than briefly touched on since the CU?Smugglers? Rangers? Crafters? Do you really think that less than 90% of the developers energies have been focused on issues involving jedi?
But is that the fault of those playing a Jedi?
I honestly feel that while the CU is bugged it is more balanced between non-jedi than at any point before the CU...and if they actually focused on the bugs instead of jedi these last couple of publishes they could've actually been about removing bugs instead of fixing jedi.
The whole alpha class scenerio requires more work than anything in the game because it's a flawed concept. So instead we get a buggy game with one profession that will be the most common profession after publish 20.
Many jedi I know agree with this even though they are jedi.
You know what: Me too. Check my sig. A MCH/MRanger... talking about broken...
But bashing those that play a Jedi is not the answer. Because we ask for fixes? Well, every prof does. Devs have to decide what to fix and what not. And if something gets fixed depends on if they find the error or not, too... (bugged BE-Clothes for example. Should be easy to fix. But it seems not to be. etc...)
You are absolutly correct...I love this post. Jedi are criminals and should be dispatched onsight. There can be no peace as long as one Jedi dog lives![]()
The Emperor was right all along...Jedi are the real problem.
