Thread: What happens if you don't Armor break resist all your armor?

Let's say you armor break resist slice the helmet, body armor, and leggings, but not the arms. How does that affect your chances of being armor broken?
To my knowledge, you are only AB'd when a Jedi successfully ABs one particular piece of your armor. Say he tries to AB you and it hits your chest; your chest has AB protection and the state doesn't stick. Then he tries to AB you and it hits your bracer; your bracer doesn't have AB protection so the state sticks. Now as I understand it, once any piece of your armor is successfully "broken," all sequential hits land for extra damage.
So say your slice your chest, helm, and pants for 75%, but only slice your bracers for 25% (which is cheaper as it doesn't require any components). Now although the chance to be hit in the bracers is very small (if you don't believe me, compare your condition loss between chest and bracers) and the 25% slice reduces that even more, the chance still holds that all of your armor will be less effective for the next 30 seconds or whatever.
Now if this was pre-pub 21 and slicing components were still expensive, I'd recomend getting a 75% for your main pieces and the cheap 25% for your bracers. However, with the current market flood of reactive micro platings, I'd just spend the extra 50k and make your chances a little smaller.
