Right ive read that now refer to my last post and also refer to the fact that if you notice the higher damage is being done when the attackers accuracy is higher than the targets defenses. Then take into note the description of accuracy that is given on loading screens.... IE If your accuracy is higher than the targets defense you will take more damage. And im sorry but if you truely read those figures... and work it out youll see that with his weapon and high ranged defense he took much less damage...
I can tell you ive tested my ranged defense + foods last night significant decrease when I use pica thundercloud decrease in both damage and hit rate for my melee toonI think this is just trying to cause a panic and finding bugs where there aint any myself... Vegesparine also works for my ranged toon just as it says on the box

I have a full set of ADK'd stormtrooperand both my weapons are adk'd. my 1 request is that i could adk a psg. It is impossible to adk a psg. The only ones are the psg's that were adk'd from pre-cu and most of those converted to crappy stats, imagine that.

PSG condition and charge is different...
They usually have like 6k-9k condition, and all have a charge of 100%
What he was askign, was how long does it take for the charge to go from 100% to 0% so that you can do more damage with an eenrgy weapon.
unfortunately, it will never go down if you use a kinetic weapon, since it doesnt affect teh psg at all.
but the good news:PSG's dont last more than 20 seconds before they have 0 charge ![]()

Basically melee defense works only when you are holding a melee weapon and ranged defense only when you are holding a ranged weapon.

I always thought that itonly applied to Defensive abillities such as ""Pistol Defense"" ""Rifle Defense"" these defenses only applied if you held the right weapon. General Melee/Range Defense should work regardless of weapon. Otherwise why would they even give you Melee Defense in the Range Profession Trees? I mean obviously if your a Rifleman you will always fight with a rifle so why give him Melee Defense ?? All the Melee/Range Defensive Skill does is increase your chance that you will avoid being hit by an incoming attack. That being so, then someone with say 500 Range Defense might have a bad day and get hit more often then someone with a range defense of 100. You will have your bad days and good days since it all depends on a roll of the dice.It's just with a higher Defense # you just get better odds, just no gurentees.

Dont listen to anyone who says the psg will die really fast in your fight. IT WONT! The psg will last throughout the fight and then days later. You did good by swapping to a kinetic gun. If anyone doesnt believe get two characters and have one shoot non stop at one with a psg on. The psg falls alittle but charges back up.

When I notice a jedi is wearing a PSG aka "not taking any damage" I break out my high powered Fearther Weight FWG5 or my high end Cerka dart carbine and let him have it. Most jedi will be in a state of shock once they realize thier psg is useless against these weapons. Most jedi will flee not knowing what is happeneing, some may even think you used an exploit lol.
Also have those two weapons around just incase. PSG's are useless against kinetic weapons like the fwg5 or the cerka

Is it even still posssible to stick a PSG into an ADK..i have heard people report they get messages like "that it is not adk'able because it is an item that does not require insurance". when they try it.
Has this become another one of those things where it was doable pre-CU but is now no longer doable post-CU?
