Thread: 'bh's are just too lazy to grind jedi'

I love it how they use the word 'lazy'. I play games because I want to relax and have fun, I don't want my games to feel like work that will only leave me pissed at the end of the day.

It's all about how much of your life you wanna dedicate to a video game. But just because someone plays less than you doen't mean there more lazy.

When I mastered BH, it took longer than Jedi does right now.

I dunno... Anakin and Luke were both awfully big whiners imo. Perhaps true Jedi are supposed to be crybabies.

As he states "everyone" was a Bounty Hunter back then. Seems to me everyone was a Creature Handler

My main is a mbh, has been for a year and a half, and will always be till the game closes. My alt (a second account, not an unlocked slot) is a doctor/ranger hybrid with some basic pistol skills, and he is currently grinding fs. He will eventually become a full template Jedi. "Why?" you may ask. There's an old phrase that I really like, and it's going to help me be that much better of a bh. "Know thyself, know thine enemy."

QFE. There were a lot of 0040 BHs, and a few 2444 BHs. Very, very few MBHs

What a crock. Before the first Jedi was unlocked BHs were THE worst PvP profession in the game. In the beginning of the game BHs were as powerful as they are now, then we got nerfed to the stone age, and finally got brought back up to our original (or close) level of power after the CU.

I stuck with MBH from launch till my reroll about a month ago, and now I'm headed back again. There was a time when playing as a BH character was just a stupid idea if you PvP'd at all. So obviously this poster doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

It hurts me to say this, but even I am going to go along the same lines and create a jedi. The reason for this is simple, I am currantly maxed out, well almost. I still have combat xp and medical xp that I get when I go out hunting and helping my guild mates get levels.

So far from what I have seen it will kill me to start to take apart my template which I love so dearly, but it's the next step. Reason I wished they kept it the old way, where the character you un-locked was FS.

Then when I un-lock my new slot, it's time to start the BH grind all over again, and I shall grind like their is no tommorow to get my MBH back up and play the padiwan as my alt. Yeah one of the reasons I am doing this is to get a glow stick, but as I have said in other places my love is being a MBH.

So far the only real hard thing I have seen about becoming a jedi is that it's time consuming, which I can deal with. If anyone who has played EQ, I play a SK on that game, and I finished my epic in a week, and that's being ina full time raiding guild. I just stayed up alot later, got almost no sleep for a week because I start work in the morning.

I will do the grind and live with it, while I work on getting some bounties to get some money and have some fun in the mean time. That and grinding with my guild mates and doing quests are always fun as well.

In short becoming a Jedi is it takes time, hell the mobs I am killing now are what CL25, takes a few shots from my worst scatter pistol, because I will be damned to use my best one or second to best one on these little critters. Yes I have a few scatters, my crappy one, my so so one, and my best one.

Those 10 minute shuttle waits were brutal, and then your mark would only spawn 30% of the time after an hour or so of tracking. Took me MONTHS to make MBH. And that LLC tree was no picnic, either.

These new Kashyyyk grinders make full template in a week, mostly afk on top of it all. You want lazy? I'll give you lazy...

I didn't read this entire thread...but I personally know more than one person who didn't have the attention span to grind to jedi.

He got pissed off and went BH to exact some kind of revenge (in his own mind) which I guess somehow was supposed to make him feel better when he saw jedi toons which he knew he couldn't have.

And to clarify, I'm not saying all BH or even most BH are like this. Some just love the thrill of the hunt. And let's face it, it is a cool profession.

Yet there are some, probably a lot, that are BH just to get their "revenge" on jedi or whatever.
