I almost always hunt solo. I usualy hunt targets 200k and more. I RP the whole time. I usualy go up to my target, and inform them they are under arrest for violation of imperial law. The target always has 2 choices... they can come to Darthomir Imperial Prison (long ride ;P) and I have completed my arrest... thus cancel my mission... or they can fight me. Most choose to fight me.

I will use "every pvp trick" in the book to win (no exploits! ever! fair fight!). About 60-70% of the time I do win. I wont db once they are incaped, I will offer them a chance.. to either pay me the ammount of the contract (I dont agree that they lose xp from death thats why i offer this, and its thru tells in OOC).. or i take the money myself thru db.

Even tho I do lose sometimes, most of the time the Jedi's are so impressed.. they PAY me to hunt them again, because they had FUN. I dont engage right from the start. I try to RP... Combat is a last resort for me to bring in my mark. But if it comes down to it.. they are going to have one hell of a fight.

My BH *ONLY* hunts jedi, and only my marks. My pvp rating is over 1450. (I think 1462 or something)

On the other side of things.. We have my Jedi.. who gets ganked left right and center. I never lost to them.. but id love to see a BH that would try to RP at place of attack. Oh well... Too bad for them.. and easy pvp rating for me.

Those are some funny responses. In some cases your foresight and cunning will be the key to completing your mission. Fight dirty, nice, or whatever suits your play style.

I think the worst thing a BH could do, would be to talk trash about or to your mark.

I mean come on, this isn't a first person shooter.

Am I the only person that thinks like this? Are you an honourable Bounty Hunter, or will you do anything for a quick buck? Both types are perfectly fair, and both types are legally supported within the game. I'd simply like to start a discussion on this topic.

Well here comes the catch: I am also a jedi. This morning, I logged in (after a successful /logout, I might add) to find myself in the clone center. Much to my chagrin, I find that I have lost roughly 280k xp (not bad for my first appearance on the terminals) I have of course, submitted a CSR report, because I blame a bugged /logout more than the BH who found me an easy target.
