Well flip side of the coin, I had wanted BH to get XP loss too (actually it was box loss at the time, tells you how long ago that was
) and move the Jedi missions to MBH only.
Why? Because I busted my butt when missions were totally borked and no speeders or mounts existed. I also know what it is to be a Jedi, having one kind of does that, and really wanted other BH to "feel the pain of loss" because they chose to PvP with a Jedi.
Life's kinda fun when it comes full-circle. I believe wholeheartedly, what's good for the goose is good for the gander...
Of course almost every BH screams NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooo! to that.

The following statement is one I keep getting from Jedi, either after I kill them in game, or here on the forum as an excuse for sending hate tells in game:
'How would you like it if I foced PvP on you and made you lose xp that you had worked hard for?'
I have several objections to this statement, as follows:
1. There is no such thing as 'forced PvP'. A BH attacks a jedi because of choices that the Jedi has made. The Jedi chose to play SWG - a MMORG - in which other real ppl can affect the game. They then chose to become a jedi. Having become a jedi, they then chose to do things which got them vis, and thus on the terms. Nobody made them do any of these things, they chose to do them, and they knew the ramifications of each of these decisions. Whilst grping will get a Jedi xp faster, they do NOT need to grp to get xp, no matter wot lvl of jedi they are. Even brand knew paddies can solo IF they choose to drop non-jedi combat skills to get their CL to a point where solo grind is feasible. Getting on the terms is a choice, not a requirement.
2. OK, so you lost some xp - I'm sure its annoying - but if the 'grind' to full jedi template is such a naus to you, the answer is simple - choose another prof! Do not take out your frustrations by sending abusive /tells to another real person that beat you in a fight on a computer game! (this last statement really applies to everybody, not just jedi)
Now I know not all jedi whine like this. Some are totally reasonable about it, and I have had many good conversations with jedi after a fight, regardless of who won. Unfortunately, mostly I get hate tells, again regardless of who won. To those who send the hate tells; C'mon, get a grip! This is a game!
well this is how i see it if we're talkin about choices
yes, the jedi chose to become jedi. the bh also chose to become bh
the bh chose to hunt a jedi
if sucessful the bh chose to kill him
the jedi chose to then become annoyed and send u nastygrams *hate tells* because u killed him
if u cant put up with the tells maybe u should choose a different profession, at this point hate tells from jedi comes with the territory.

1. Informed consent is a legal condition whereby a person can be said to have given consent based upon a full appreciation and understanding of the facts and implications of any actions, with the individual being in possession of all of his faculties, and his judgement not being impared at the time of consenting.
2. Show us a single printed document from SOE detailing what you have expressed is the intended roll that the Jedi characte is to assume within this game....I double dog dare you, unless you're afraid. ![]()

Hate tells are stupid, immature and a waste of time regardless if they come from a Jedi or are originated by the BH. It doesn't matter if one, both, or neither side exploited. Just /addignore the haters and move on with life. If you truly believe the other guy (or gal) exploited just file a ticket and move on.

It's ok, you can sit up there on your high horse now and "edumacate" us on how our profession is supposed to be... but your "fixes" are coming soon too. So when you can't go pick the lowest mark you can find or get multiple BH's on the same mark, we'll be sure to "edumacate" you on how your profession is supposed to be when you're filling your threads full of belly-aches.
I am looking forward to Max temps now that heal is gimped
mistaken you are in the so called jedi "nerf"! This patch has made us the most powerful we've been since the CU. We're now more of "Offensive" than "Defensive" now. Its always a blast to get a adrenal boost + force speed. Rooting? Who cares, with the new added damage of saber throw, I hit for well over 1k w/ just saber throw to a BH, every what, 2 seconds?
thats awesome, u guys should be the best characters in the game then we can all be one

Hate tells are ridiculous. No one should send hate tells. Period.
And can the Jedi ever post something here that doesn't have to do with xp loss??
xp loss is the ONLY "factor" when it comes to jedi vs bh. You would see ALOT more jedi stand their ground and fight, when they dont have anything to lose. Would you rather stay there and lose the xp you ground so hard to get? Or would you run, and live to fight another day?
That's the most inane thing I've ever heard a Jedi say... ever.
By the way, you'd see a lot less Jedi getting hunted, if the NPC missions paid out 225k.
see the irony? BH vs Jedi... Bounty Hunters are fighting hard to win. Jedi are fighting hard not to lose. THAT's the system the devs wanted!
