I live on kash now. I'm starting to drop a few jedi there a night. However - Droids are not working 'as intended'...they are however working 'as they ended up working'. The way they have it now, was not the original vision, they admited to this and ended up backpedeling on it.

Just go there, take names, and have a field day killing the AFK'ers. It'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, plus you'll get loads of credits in the process. Most AFK'ers appear during non peak hours from my exp, may differ server to server.

....and more than likely die trying. But if that is your cup of tea....isn't mine. AFK'ers are my New Favorite though.

There is a problem with kashyyk(?)

Not that droid doeesnt work there, but there is safe-spot close (10m) to one of the favorit grinding places.

So even if you locate your target they just run to safe-spot.

You have to be lucky to find one that is grinding afk, or find one you can kill in 2-3 shot, where first shot is KD, otherwise theyll just run to safe-spot.

Droids not working, just make it take longer, but not impossible.

For thoose who doesnt know, kasshhyykkk isnt like other planets, its more like pathes you walk on, so there is a limit numbers of spots they can hide.

Just a tip: Trya damage special before the knockdown.

Also, I usually don't have much trouble killing jedi on Rryatt Trail before they make it to the LoS exploit. I burst run as I approach the grinding spot, take Deuterium Pyro in addition to my normal stack of food/drinks/spice and only attack if my mark is in the middle of a fight. If he's just standing around, I'll run right by and come backfor another pass later.(On my server, they only seem to use the /duel exploitif you stand around for awhile). Granted, the jedi I've killed there are not what I would call high-level. I suppose a MDef would be much more difficult.

Tipical Jedi Hunting on Kahsyyyk

1. Turn on /Targ Jedi Macro after landing on Kash

2. You can Bike around Kash but, to save time just go streight to the Trails..

3. Pick a Trail Server (I gen start with #1 and go up) **NOTE** Take notes on Jedi Names on the trails you dont find your make on for your next run if you wana hunt on Kash

4. Hit the Guide and select Webweaver Path

5. Burstrun or fight down to the bridge.

6. Start getting /Tells "Who are you here for?"

7. If Jedi is not there hop out and hit another Server

8. Burstrun or fight down to the bridge.

9. Start getting /tells "Who are you here for?"

10. /Targ locks your Jedi in and let the fight start.

11. Start getting /tells "STOP! Ill pay you double the bounty!"

12. Now3 things can happen here. A/ You fight till someone wins B/ Jedi starts getting low of force, runs to bridge to Regen C/ Jedi relizes he cant win, runs to bridge and uses /unstick to bug out.

The Trails are really a good place for Jedi to fight..You are allmost in Sabor/Force Range (32m) during the Whole fight so be on your guard...You also cetch a many of jedi AFK

Yes, Some Jedi use the LOS Exploit but, They also run into houses to regen Force/Health and run back out to fight..Some Jedi are going to Exploit no matter where they are...

If you dont know about the /Targ Macro its a great tool for a BH hunting anywhere..It will run in the background and can pickup your mark several 100ms out..

Make a New Macro and name it (Mine is named TargetJedi)

/targ (JediNameHere);

/pause 02;

/macro TargetJedi

Thers 2 way of doing this..You can place the Macro Icon in your toolbar or use a /alias command line

To use a /alias command...Make your Macro then type in chat /alias targ /macro TargetJedi

Then all you have todo is type /targ and it will run your Target macro...You can replace targ with anything you like...just remember what you named it..

To stop the Macro just type /dump

P.S. Dont forget to change the Jedi namein yourTargetJedi Macro when your on a new hunt..LOL Youll be looking for a Mark you dont have no more

** NOTE ** Jedi have now got LookOuts buzzing around the Trail Entrance and at the starts of Trails to alert Jedi...Remember to take you marks name out of your FriendsList(Tracking Collar)before hunting your mark..This goes for any jedi Hunt (I found out this the hardway LOL)

If your asked who your hunting for eather make-up a name or pick another jedi in your FriendsList..Dont give the real name..They will alert the Jedi and he will Logout on you, Cloak(if they have the skill)use /unstick to hop out while your going down..

Also, if your Mark is there, get off the the side where you wont get mixed up with the spawns and tell'm you mark isnt there and stand for a min wait for them to get into combat and UNLOAD on your mark

The interesting thing about that LOS bug, is I do not think SOE knows HOW to fix it.

Case in point, try watching an entertainer, even after the supposedly fixed the "too far away" problem, it still happens from time to time. Same thing with the cloning terminals on adventure planets couldn't radial them for 2 or 3 patches, mobs that are doing melee damage from 60m, that all seems to me to have the same core cause, something in the CURB severely borked LOS calcuations.

When they figure out how to fix the LOS bug on the bridge, I suspect the whole game will be improved as a result.

They are pretty dumb if they cant fix it. I have been working with DX9 and .NET for the past few months and this is a very basic thing to accomplish. There is a function built into DX to check to see if a line intersects with a mesh. Its litteraly only a couple lines of code. Since SWG is a DX9 game I know they can do this. Not sure why they are taking their sweet time. Of course they prolly have that dev ego thing going. Ex: "Its my code and its absolutly perfect! Im Perfect! There are no bugs in my code at all and anyone that says otherwise is a dork!". I work with devs all day long and trust me, they do think like this. They dont like to be shown that they coded something wrong or that there was a better way to do something.
