SAC on the high damage gun is a killer.
Depends on what you intend. If you want to smack people down just dueling the Noob Cannon may be the ticket, just pray you kill them in 4-5 specials.
Otherwise for all around use I would take the Proton, and I think its a dismal gun at that SAC, but manageable.
I wouldnt pay a premium price for either one.

Go get an action cost reducing power up and go with the e11. Action cost will not go lower than 85 anyway.

Incorrect. I possess an E11 Mk.II with an SAC of 76. That's without an SAC Reduction PUP. With an SAC PUP, it goes down to 59
I have seen on a few of Ahazi's vendors Elite Carbines with great damage and 75 SAC. Without PUPs.

A SAC of 73 is the weapon's hard cap.. your WS will not be able to get it any lower than that.

Ummm, I use the proton carbine from the quest, it is ver good, I use plenty of specials, and I hardly get drained, the proton you can get for free by taking the quest on the ryratt trial(get from the human in wookie armor). I do believe there is a quest for the E11 mk. 2, but I do not know that one, I say because it is still a very high damage, very powerful gun, and it is good for all-around use, I would say the proton carbine is better.

Yep id use the e11. Id put a low sac pup on it...And id put a low sac pup on the other. If the fight goes realy long switch to the proton. With a low sac pup on the proton it should get in the 50's and even shooting non stop high end specials you should be able to recover action at the same time. Then just switch back : )

E11 Mk.II's are readily found, and in usually good numbers.
Quality varies however. It depends on your server's resources available to your Weaponsmiths.
On Ahazi, the E11 Mk.II's are good, but not as great as the Elite Carbines, which are looking really good right about now. I'm surprised the WS's haven't churned out better versions of these Carbines in greater numbers.
