Thread: Why dont droids work on Kashyk?

Why make it easier for jedit o hunt somewhere, and why make them able to flaunt thier abilities ina time period where jedi are supposed to be scarce, and secretive? Its bad enough in the core content, why make it worse in the expansion?
Ill tell you why. SO jedi are forced to spend more money on SWG if they want to survive. Thats all i can come up with so far.
If anyone can give me a better reason, please be all means provide it. But sadly i just found this out, and im extremely angry i bothered renewing my account only to find out im probably going to cancel it again when publish 20 hits.
So yeah, anyone got a good reason? Because i heard its working as intended and they arent going to change it, and im just wondering thier infinite wisdom behind this decision.
The reason, another poster already stated this, is that it's a programming error (for lack of a better term). ROTW was supposed to come out before episode III hit the theatres. Feeling the time crunch, the Devs rushed the code out the door to make their deadline. Droids not working is mostly likely due to their ability to not work with the code that provides teh locations for instanced players. Since then, the Devsprobably decided it would be too much work to get them working and thus it isnt cost feasable.
