Thread: Why do BH's think Jedi are supposed to stand there and die?

It's been some time since I've read such a generalizing, misinformed and clueless post. Thanks for giving this Jedi some hope that more BHs are like yourself.

You sir are an idiot. We arnt ignorant....your ignorant. Your goal is to kill your bounty anyway possible....our goal is to stay alive anyway possible....by means of escape or killing you....thats the roles...we should be able to escape if we want to, Hell most of us grinded for 1 year to get jedi....5 months min....so yeah we should be uber and stronger than you...if you want to be equal (not like you arnt all ready) lets see you grind 5 months to a year to get mbh...

where did I say that? they are however a foolproof way of escape...you have to be mentally challenged or afk not to get away with either of these skills.....So they are fairly lame skills imo (3 cheers to SOE for introducing filthy rogues into swg)
And to be honest, most exploiting I've seen has been fromt he BHers trying to kill me. I've had ONE BH use 3 exploits to try and kill me and still fail, lol.
-(multi)sliced sabers - Sabers cannot be sliced
-overloaded sabers - A Pre-CU exploit. Cannot be done post-CU
-speedhacks - Used by BHs not Jedi, Saber speed is currently broken
-faction base abuse (not an official exploit, but certainly not working as intended) - The only valid point you have here, agree with you here
-FIGHTCLUBS - FRS is disabled, therefore NO Jedi is currently above the paddie level in ability
no to mention all the player griefing with jedi thugs killstealing all the time (pre-curb)
Also, Jedi are not required to fight, I don't always feel up to it or am busy with something, so I am not going fight all the time. I do have a schedule.
I hear that a lot, yet most jedi saying that prefer 2 hours of forcerun/sitting in a house over a short fight, even if they have nothing to lose (yes jedi have it easy now when it comes to xp loss....But even full template jedi STILL whine about it)
My philosphy is this, i am a hunter and i am not honorable. I will do everything to make sure my mark is dead, and i never give up untill one of us is dead.

i love hearing the same jedi claiming one day that they should be SOOOOO powerfull you should only be able to kill them in a sneaky way....yet start an enourmous whine when a BH actually does it to them....
B. How do you know there aren't cool and laid back jedi, in my 'career' i have met so many amazing players who are some of the kindest and best people for my server.
there are, they're a minorty.....so called alpha classes always attract the worst kind of people, leading to a big % of very unpleasant jedi....
I have loads of jedi which I call friends (or I like em at the very least)......people who act normally to be I treat with respect....90% of the targets I run in to do not in any case fall in to that category, they are just annoying, arrogant potty mouth l33t kiddies, or adults who think and ACT like they are better than everyone (running or cloaking with their glowie stick) - AGree with this, but children with potty nouths who whine and generally behave poorly are not only indigenous to the Jedi class. There are as many if not more BHs who also fall into this category.
Honestly, when it comes down to it, no-one is going to help out neophytes like you.I quit the game for 6 months, within 2 weeks of coming back I had a full set of layered jedi hunting armour, factoin amour, several grinding suits, double capped weapons, food and all I needed...
I got it from both REBELS and IMPERIALS.....so I guess you're way off on "what it comes down to" I just do not like the majority of the skilless overpampered jedi-whiners...
djeez one of the guys brining me up to speed with the curb even was a rebel jedi (and yes I'm imp)...why....because he likes fighting people like me that don't talk **edit** unless spoken to (which happens on a daily base with these newbs jedi cupcakes)
fact is....most jedi will keep on whining till they single handedly can take down 20 regular players....And most likely untill they can do that they will still only know one way to fight.........cloak or FR.
just face the fact they are mostly acting like little spoiled children...if you don't believe me...check the prof forums.........check the jedi and BH forum....then check smugger/carbineer/SL........HUGE difference in attitude

If you want Jedi to be as tough as in the movies, then there should be as many Jedi as there are in the movies , and according to the movies they are all NPCs in this era.
Unfortunately, what seems to be drawing players to Jedi is not a reverence and respect for what it represents, but simply a desire to be more powerful than others. The Devs thought that by having Jedi hunted by bounty hunters, it would curb this desire. As usual, the Devs have thought wrong.
This game needs an Executive Order 66... oh wait, that was saber-tef and perma-death. I guess we got Executive Order 86.
