Thread: Any Master Pistoleer BH's?
PanicShot is just like DisarmingShot from Pistoleer and i think they still stack so you can really reduce your enemys speed for a few seconds!
Last Ditch is now post-CU a last ditch and mostly usefull in PvP as a last throw at someone when you have between 100 and 500 Health left
...Pistoleer is great, and i love Pistols so its just natural for me to be a MBH/MP! Only thing that bothers me is the 35m range - i dont really understand why we are forced to operate within so close distance??
I can recommend it as a PvE and PvP template

My Heavy Lighting Rifle has a sac of 59 when Puped(damage is 1070 non sliced). + I can kite your sorry pistoler butt, so your defenses are meaningless.

Im MBH/MP/CM 4000 and enjoy this temp better than any. Pistols compliment MBH from a defensive standpoint (pistols have better def than carbs or rifles) With the right pistol (low SAC) and some good speed mods i think u would agree that it is a great temp. If u have any doubts, check out the pistoleer forum. Badger is 1 of the best correspondants out there and will prove to be more than helpful I'm sure.
Never lost to a MBH/MR in a duel ever post-CU and sertainly not pre-CU
- But thise duels have been within citys so they have lost their ranged bonus, might have turned out diffrent if it was up in the Dune Sea..
to MBH, MP, CM 4000. FS ranged speed (3 boxes)
To me, the bottom line is that in order to effectively hunt full templates now, some serious healing is in order. I hunted for some time with my previous template. Sometimes I was successful, but the longer the fight went on, the lower my chances were of surviving. Basically, my healing just didn't keep up.
With CM, that's no longer an issue..Plus, my speed is as good as ever with SEA's..And I easily make up for the lost accuracy with a quick drink of pyro..

Well to the poster, I would recommend you do your MBH/Mpistoleer thing and learn some Smuggler, and slice stuff, because it seems like that what you really want to do.
Personally though, I like my temp: MBH MCM Pistoleer 0004. I can kill full temp jedi and regular players aren't even much of a challenge anymore. I think I've lost 1 or2 PvP fights, and they were to triple melee temps that i got too close to...

That can be very different, I was Rifleman once but I though it was so boring so I never Mastered it. Then I respec'ed to Carbineer instead, I liked it but after a few weeks that got old as well. Now I was out of respecs and wanted to try something new so I Mastered Pistoleer and I love it. Things like these are different for each person, don't expect that everyone in the universe wants to be Rifleman just because it has longer range. I like the Pistoleer attacks and my superior Scatter.
I never expected anything, I was talking about myself.
General Ranged Accuracy +190
General Ranged Speed +75
Group Ranged Defense +25
Healing Efficiency +10
Melee Defense +175
Pistol Accuracy +40
Pistol Defense +50
Pistol Speed +45
Ranged Defense +190
That would be +120 spd, +230 acc, +225 melee and +265 ranged defense. With Rally from SL, I would get an added bonus of +40 acc and +80 defense for a total of +270 acc and +305 melee and +345 ranged defense. Healing would be about 700-800 at 0010 with a +18 HE shirt. Two Aakuanrings anda +5Rangedbelt would put me up to +360 ranged..not an issue with jedi, but with that and DS I would have +610 ranged defense! lol
I felt I could tank all night, but my damage output seemed low. I am using a dmg sliced KDY-21 (or whatever the heck that pistol is we get from Boba that Zam used) Max dmg is over 900 on it, mod DPS is about 560. Its a kenetic pistol too. My Trando Sup pistol has a mod DPS of 597, but the max dmg is like 750ish with a 150ish elemental dmg. It just didn't seem to pack the punch of the KD, and the KD just didn't seem to pack the punch of a rifle or carbine with the same or even lower stats...is that just the Xmultiplier on the special? In most cases...the damage floating over the elite mark's head from Critical shot was in the high 700s to low 800s. Quickdraw was doing about 450ish. THis was pretty much the case across the board on all the marks last night.
Will a temp like that do okay vs jedi?
