I killed him twice but could only farm him once for PvP rating

What time of day was this?

Was it just after a server reset?

Are you sure his mission did not fail after he was slain the first time?

it's a way of circumventing an intended game mechanic, the devs want the missions to be untargeted and they want to move to a 1 vs 1 system. having set payouts defeats both of the devs intentions. the devs need to either make all jedi missions display the same payout or have that payout randomly determined when the mission is displayed not when it enters the database.

I think it has to do with playing at off-peak hours and a limited amount of missions on the terms then for Jedi. It's easier to find your mission. I had a friend get a lot of repeat visits from a bh the other day just like you're describing.

agreed

Bac... I am telling you, this is happening alot. sometimes 3 missions in a row to the same BH getting the same jedi they just had. I know 2 jedi on Ahazi that have BH alts that this happened to. Their BH went and got a mission went out to find it was the jedi they just killed, they aborted the mission cause they have honor, went back to get another mission, and got the same jedi again. I hear this more and more, and I have more grind groups that see the same BH show up time and time again for the same jedi, and we never left the grinding of animal NPC's after their BH death.

I have a buddy of mine that has been hunted by the same bh for 5 days in a row, he has killed him everytime, but the guys just keeps coming for more. sometimes 2 or 3 times a day, now I have several questions.

1. When you become a BH, does your IQ drop? beeing killed by the same jedi , 2 or 3 times a day , for 5 days is a bit in the stupid side.

2. Something is wrong with the terms if you happen to get the same jedi 2 or 3 times in a row. Why dont the Devs fix this?

3. why hunt jedi at all? to grief em, population control? its not working.

Play or quit..... there is no whine.

Im not saying that it does not happen on a regular basis. I myself have had this happen. There is currently 1 BH that keeps pulling my mission. Ive killed him 3 times in the past 4 days and he has shown up an additional 3-4 times where he has just walked away and dropped mission.

all the bh has to do is remember the credit amount for the mission and (s)he can pull the same mission over and over again. although the amount is randomly generated, it's static once the mission is listed on the terminals. this also allows multiple bh to pull missions on the same jedi and work together. for example, if your mission is listed at 53,243 credits, it will be 53,243 credits for every bh who looks at the terminals until you die.

There is a definate problem with BH being able to get a same target based on the random payout assigned to your mission. Apparently the payout doesn't change till server reset (or maybe logout?) so once a bounty hunter knows what payout = your name they can continue to hunt you till successful or they get bored. This was confirmed last night as a bounty hunter cloned in a player city last night, went to the bounty hunter terminal, got my mission and hunted me again without visiting a spy net op.

If this is the case, then the system is working as intended and the BH's have found a way to identify the target. This puts us back at square one Bac, which is where BH's can target specific jedi, get some friends, and then gank you into a negative hole so deep you'll spend a lot of time digging out.

Be warned fellow jedi, if the BH's figure this out and get organized the Gank Squads are back. With xp as difficult as it is for young paddies to earn w/o a lot of risk of getting on the terms, the devs may have found their population control after all.
