wow, where do I start.

First of all, you lose all credibility when you infer that anyone whodoesnt conform to your idea of the SWG player is a lesser person than yourself.

You obviously havent playedmany MMORPGs before as you would have probably noticed that at least 30%of the population is driven by 'searching to be the most powerful player there is'.

And why shouldnt any player have reward for the effort they want to put in, less than 20% of players PVP and of them only a fraction would ever abuse their position to grief another player.

Developers seam to care about is Jedi, but during this time line, it seams like a profession that is really not needed.

Do you realize that the combat revamp is actually called the combat nerf??

They are nerfing all melee classes, they are nerfing ranged classes,they are nerfing armor, they are nerfing Doc buffs, they are nerfing CMs, THEY ARE NERFING EVERY COMBAT CLASS!!

I honestly now cannot wait for the combat revamp because a lot of you will quit for at least a few weeks if not for good.

If you really wanted the combat revamp before the Jedi revamp, hey I had no problem with it at all.

I liked my Jedi the way he was.

If they're "nerfing" absolutely everything, wouldn't that be more appropriately called a "change"? I was under the assumption that a nerf was something that diminishes the strength of something, thereby making it weaker. If everything is being re-arranged, and it's all relative to the other changes, I don't see how that is a weakening.

Why are you posting this opinion here anyway? The people who play as Jedi didn't have anymore to do with how Jedi works than you did with how BH works. Iwas a Master Bounty Hunter for a long time and it really used to make meangry whenpeople would come to our boards and complain to us about FireKD or Eyeshot. It makes no sense to do this and just creates bad blood which in turns generates all the "complaints from jedis and bhs." Quit fanning the flames.

P.S. Don't post things you don't know from personal experience i.e. "since jedi are so strong, they get xp really quickly." You wouldn't like it if somebody came to the BH boards and told you things about BH that weren't true and they had never played as one would you? Keep it civil.

What Kool-aid are YOU drinking? Nowhere has SOE, LucasArts, the writing on the box or the forums EVER ONCE "promised" that you could be Jedi and stay off the terms. Clearly you haven't finished nor come close to finishing your template. Also, clearly, you didn't read the little pop up window when you finished your paddie trials, all of which state how the path to Jedi is a dangerous one. Unless you've had your head in a hole since you joined SWG and didn't know that, FOREVER, Jedi have been hunted and FOREVER, Jedi get vis, then I find your entire point to be invalid and hypocritical.

More than likely, here's what's happened to you. You joined SWG with the intent to be "Mace (Got tossed out the) Windu". You knew back then, that Jedi get vis and Jedi get hunted, but that didn't stop you. You wanted that sacred glow stick for yourself. So you discovered the forums and found out exactly what you needed to do to become force sensitive. Used nade grinding and DBL XP weeks to burn thru the village. Then, got your paddie and showed everyone how "l33t" you are by demonstrating your glow stick show. AFK macro grinded on Kash, and now by some chance, you YOURSELF, have been hunted and killed by a BH because thru-out your AFK grinding, you never LEARNED how to USE your Jedi. So you come here with some weak juiced argument about how SOE promised that you could be Jedi and stay off of the terms. Bro, being Jedi is about PvP. PvP is about getting vis. You knew this from the door, my friend. If you didn't, then shame on you for not learning about your profession before you chose it. But the end result is the same. You know it now brother, so either deal or drop.
