Thread: what do you think about for a knock-out of cloak

Maybe you, but not the other 95% of jedi that have it. Granted, there are alot of respectable jedi that dont use it for this reason (until they run out of mind or force) and use it for spying in pvp which is fine, but 95% of the grinding jedi get it right off the bat for the *click i'm safe* button. We use a whole profession to hunt you guys. One line in jedi shouldnt save you from bh's. Either we get a knock out of cloak button or you get a cloak at master powers button.

How about a sonic droid that eminatessound waves which "outline" the cloaked figure within a radiusallowing targeting with an accuracy penalty modifier. Additionally, while the droid is present the force cost to maintain cloak is "significantly" increased - say on the neighborhood of having 100 players standing within 5 feet of you.

Obviously cloak needs a nerf. We all know it's coming. We should just stop discussing and wait for the surprise

One only has to look at the Astromechs they put out to shoot holes in your 90% of Jedi having this skill. It is the lowest of all the 5 disciplines chosen with healer topping the list, there are more dancers than cloakers. And only time I have ever popped out of cloak is if I had an auto atack or used KD recovery, no DOT kept me from staying cloaked including choke, then again I don't recall too many with choke to begin with so maybe I am missing it, I have been wrong before.

Wont happen....they've nerfed jedi repeatedly and i doubt there going to go much further than they have already, i have no clue why people continually cry that jedi run from them lol....If this is the case then they should bring back perma death and institute it for both classes then we can see everyone cry....Wasting time worried about a jedi running from you is about as retarded as saying "there too overpowered" lol you serious???? Is it not enough bh's can take out full temps as it is now? I call that balence enough....Next you'll want them to nerf force run hahaha

Have you seen all the overt non-Jedi running around? Oh yea, nobody goes overt since all Jedi use cloak for offense. It's going to happen. Jedi and Cloak have ruined the GCW. Just look around and compare it to the old/fun days.

Your cry for a nerf to cloak is as rediculous as using a spatula to peelyour drewling faceoff a window, or atleast as dumb as saying nerf cm heals.....Id love to see yourself on the end of countless helpings of the nerf bat, you'd probably cry....this topic almost guarantees it....

im not crying, sounds like you are about to. I know balance when I see it, and this skill is not and EVERYONE knows it. It's game breaking and it'll see a nerf or a move to masters, one of the two. I'll sit back and limit my pvp til it does, wee!

I agree, there needs to be a counter to Jedi Invisibility. Could be a limited use random rare drop npc loot that can see thru it.. Don't call it cloak, it's just a fancy name for Invisibility.
