if you have gotten in range of a mark and he's spawned on the map as a target, he wont' move anymore, ime. had a mark stay stationary in the middle of lok through a server reset, for a couple of days.

Your mark does not turn into a commoner. The mark should be somewhere near the waypoint usually about can range up to 120m-200m from the waypoint.

However...

Considering commoners are mostly around cities, your mark might have left already and you will have to drop the mission. BH marks have always been equipped to resemble real life. So sometimes you will see them heading toa starport/shuttleport. If they are able to reach this, they will disappear (resembling their escape). At this point you will have to drop the mission. Their waypoint will still be there, but they won't. Since this happens in cities, more often than not, you will find a commoner or some other npc around the waypoint.

Hope that helps.

I'm not so sure. These commoners are always bang in the center of the Waypoint, and the 2nd time it happened the the commoner was all on his jack jones.

If they want to make this resemble real life then I should be able to get a fix on their new planet using a droid but that doesnt work.

Sadly I dont have enough confidence in the game to assume it's 'working as intended' and think it's a simple bug.

BH marks dont 'leave'......

What you are experiencing is a bug...

I have seen it many many times... and yes I have looked for my mark around he area....

Usually what I do is shuttle/starport off the planet and come back.... launch another seeker and then the mission is usually completable.

I beg to differ w/ you. I've had a NPC mark leave and go to a different planet on me. Was really frustrating.

I first got the "3K warp bug" only to drive back to the starport that I started from. Knowing that the mark usually isn't under the wp for the mark, I'm searching the whole city while my seeker keeps updating to the same location. Never found the mark, and Eventually I put up a new seeker. It says the mark isn't able to be found on this planet or something like that. OK, go outside town, and launch another AK. Wait to get an update. The NPC mark had planet hopped on me. I couldn't believe it either. Go to the new planet, and yes, the WP is now on this planet. Only 200M from the mark. I think "Good he can't be moving now" Go to the wp, nothing. A little search turned him up 150M away, just as I was about to give up.

The best part was the loot. Can you guess what I got? Of course it was the lovely Jar of bugs. Grr....
