If you're a jedi and you are afk... you deserve the death that may become you. Especially if you have a bounty out!

Eh, I'd listen to Mar here. A Jedi that's been careful and has no bounties on it is pretty much just as safe AFK as the next guy.

Besides, once they start getting powerful, they can probably grind XP on player bounty hunters by staying AFK the way cammandos farm mummer thugs by AFKing in the middle of a spawn point. As an initiate, they're powerful enough to take down krayt dragons. Don't underestimate the power these Jedi will eventually get.

An AFK Jedi is unwise to lower his defenses. If I happen upon one I will LLC them.

jedi don't get lots.. next

The best of his class at secret training grounds on Yinchorr, Kanos was an expert at the echani fighting form and in wielding a force pike. Kanos' fanatical loyalty, though, was his greatest and most dangerous weapon. Even after Palpatine was defeated at Endor, Kanos and his fellow Royal Guardsmen remained true to the Imperial ideal. As Imperial moffs and admirals began greedily carving up the Empire to fuel their own ambitions, Kanos attempted to uphold the codes of the New Order.

I'm not searching for the post(s), but what I consider to be fact is:

When a Jedi uses his force powers in pubilc, an invisible meter begins to fill up. If he uses it in private, it still fills up, just at a slower rate. If that Jedi uses his powers in the presence of the Empire, it fills up very quickly. When that meter is full, he becomes Bounty Hunters' Most Wanted.

Other than that, he gets a TEF just like everyone else.

Have any Jedi actually commented on this point? Speculation seems to go both ways.

Yes. They have a lot count but they CAN NOT place structures.

It is believed (but still being tested) that Jedi bounties have a very short shelf life. Maybe as little as 30 minutes. Since BH droids are broken, it isonly by buying informants or having conveniently located friends to spot the Jedi that a BH can even locate the Jedi. So between the known BH/DoctorRez/Jedi mission exploit, the 30 minute timer (if that is correct) and simple logging or being hard to find (Gee, I am a BH, shall I go wander around Endor looking for a Jedi?) there is little Jedi have to fear from BHs.

Got too much visibility? Find a BH friend with Investigation 3 or higher and have him grab the mission (unlimited BHs w/Inv3 can get these missions) and have him prang you, then get rezzed. Voila`, instant visibility reduction forthe Jedi+ risk free 150k to split + risk free 1500 Investigation xp for the BH. High visibility got you down and no friendly doc to keep you from losing your precious 3 rebirths? Log to your main for an hour or two if you intend to move to a high population planet and scout your destination. Got a friendly city? Use /warnplayer to cause a universal TEF on any spotted BH whilst you bask in the adulation of your PA buddies.

I hope to be a MBH sometime in the next few months. But I doubt Jedi have much to worry about from me unless I trip over one while he is afk. Heh.

I do not hate Jedi. It is because I admire them so that I hunt them down and kill them. Or wish I could.
