they could be e-bay jedi? that testing for us
i know one of the jedi that is getting to test, he is from my server and i can guarantee you there couldn't be a more respected and qualified man for the job
I have a LOT of respect for pre pub 9 jedi and I would be satisfied if they got to help out in the testing, it would /comfort me

That would definitly suck
..... damn e-bay!
to bad i did all my holo/silent profs during pub 9

That may be E-bay Jedi but it wont be - E-bay jedi wont even find where is TC launches, not talking about what they dont know what forum is. So i doubt it. Ones who know all aspects of Jedi proffesions Pre - Pub 9 and After pub 9, is Pre-pub9 Jedi. Where was a lot of changes made Durning Pub9 testing, based on Pub9 testers feedback. So it not needed to make Crowd of every jedi which playing on Live atm. Pre9 is a lot more then needed to test Jedi, and it wont be bad. I am more then sure what everyone will be able to read about skills anyway.

I heard that if I place five master merchant's names on my harvester's admin list that the maintenance won't exist. This true or some dumb lie people are telling to try and get you to put their name on your harvesters admin? Let me know, I'm sorry if this has been asked before I tried to do a search but really didn't know what to type to search for. Thanks again. Wra'thing de Corbantis

heh, that's an interesting myth...
I guess someone based that off of the fact that a master merchant can give a 20% reduction in structure maintenance if he pays at 1+ cr towards it, until the next time someone pays. the 20% reduction only applies once, and the merchant has to feed the 1+ cr in to get the benefit (not just be on the admin list.)

Hey, rumors are what let me charge 10k for something called an "Anti Droid Jedi Protection Device 98%" right alongside ordinary droid detection devices for 1k.
My "Large Bed (reinforced for Wookiee pleasure)" are legit, tho!

That IS kind of interesting.
I've never heard that one before.
It's a lie, but it's still interesting.
You're probably right about the 20% assumption.
The discount is only calculated by the final person to place maintenance in the structure.
If they qualify for the discount, it will be applied.
If they don't qualify for it, it will be revoked.
Of course, mathematically it would break down like this if the 20% discounts stacked:
Merchant 1 = 80%
Merchant 2 = 64%
Merchant 3 = 51%
Merchant 4 = 41%
Merchant 5 = 33%

There were only two of them. Sheesh math isn't the strong suit of this thread is it?

FWIW before the current method was put into place the only way a structure got a discount was if it was OWNED by a merchant. So there was no way to stack the discount even then.

Many = More than one.
It is odd to see two though in the same thread, especially a question thread.

i like it all teh same, and truly i wasn't expecting a correspondent to answer at all, but a player or two. pumped though to see the responses of many (more than one) correspondents and thanks again. I like the merchant forum, it seems not to move, this post been on the front page without a bump for about 4 days
