Sounds like someone is mad cause they can't pick on noobs anymore.

1. A Jedi by definition cannot be a"noob" because they have to play the game a minimum amount ofmonths to even become one so if in that period of time they cannot learn how to defend themselves then they are morons who will probably never figure it out.Actually, there are a lot of Ebay'd Jedi (Jebai) out there who are complete noobs who have no idea that they bought a toon that could be hunted by BHs.

2. A low level padawan is every bit as dangerous as a fully templated Jedi because they still have their non-Jedi skills intact. Unless the player is foolish and drops them all, yes.

3. What is so hard about leveling a Jedi nowadays anyway? All you do is go AFK on Kashyyk for a few days to become a full template. Yep

4. Cry more.

If a player is going to be hunted by another player then I agree that it shouldn't be done by amatures.Being a good BH is not about killing every mark you get. In nature mostpredators don'talways make their kill and the crappy ones who aren't very good hunters die out. Sorry but not all of you are Boba Fett. I could see some of you in Star Wars trying to catch Han Solo, only to return to Vader and cry that Solo is to hard to find and he's to powerful to kill.There are going to be some Jedi that are more powerful than you, some that are weaker. Some will be hard to find and some that run when you show up. So what? Did you think every hunt would be a challenge, but not to much of a challenge, hard, but not to hard andwhich you always won in the end?Jedi have something to lose. You aren't going to lose exp when you die. Jedi didn't choose to hunt you, you chose to hunt them, so what are you crying for?

yeah, we might not be boba fette, but i never seen amovie with luke running for the nearest house/lake and then cryng to his friends that hes underpowered.. Actualy thinking of vader shaking in his boots in the nearest safe house while some random nobody BH and a pal are sitting outside is beyond ridiculous. Congradulations on redefining jedi... From honorable bada$$'s to cowering crybabies, good job

Serious problem with cloaking. Not many BH will figure this out until they fight one that has it. The Jedi can now cloak WHILE TEFed! This means that as soon as you get 20 meters away from the jedi they are gone, which we must do to fire effectively. ThisMUST change; it is way too much of an advantage. It is like a get out of fight free skill. Sony gets rid of the "mobile homes" then changes it so thatJedi now have a skill that can do the exact same thing now. Imagine that.

'Eternal

Have a droid Follow Other them, then they will have something within 20m (unless they FR, of course) and they can't cloak.

Well, Ijust cancelled both of my accounts. Not that SWG cares, its pretty clear that they are the lapdogs of Jedi and f*&^ck the rest of us. Its sad too because we all put blood sweat and tears into our characters. Not all of us are jr. high kids with all day to grind out a Jedi. Anyways, I feel like I'm leaving two good friends, but unfortunately they took away the only fun I had in this game by nerfing BH which was pretty much working with it's hands tied behind its back anyways.

As someone else said... "Congratulations Jedi, you win". Must be nice to have the SWG "Gods" on your side. Those of us who are damned will just be walking off into the sunset. I'm off to Guild Wars or World of Warcraft.

good decision m8. for me the same. i cancelled both chars.

was very hard because i puted a lot of energy, fun and hate into.

jedi = admin, alpha-chars

rest = supernumeraries

thx sony, thx soe. good job anyway.

First off i will say i am neither a bh or a jedi Which is why you are clueless, go away.

Second the Rryatt trail is not an exploit the producers MADE IT THAT WAY. So please stop using this as your main exscuss to not hunting a jedi because it doesnt float The problem with the Rryatt Trail, Mr. (or Ms. or Mrs.) Can't-Read-English, are the Line of Sight (LOS) issues with the bridges. You can be standing 1m (that's one meter) from your mark and not be able to attack them.

Third why are bounty hunters complaining about it? About what? Your pronoun "it" refers to something, but I can't determine what that would be, unless you mean Publish 20. Did you not know that the Feral wookies the jedi are killing are NPC's?difference between npc and creature is the npc drops credits, creatures dont and wookies drop credits =).This is giving them visabilty even AFTER pub 20. Refer to "First off" sentence above. It matters not that they are generating visibility there, since we cannot get their names on Kashyyyk and have to visit the correct instance (1 in 16 chance, between the 6 Rryatt Trail and 10 Myyrdil Cavern instances) and target them using the TAB key (or whatever key you have mapped to Target Next Attackable or whatever it's called).

Fourth if you want to be picky about it they could be hunting on Lok or dantooine and killing creatures which dont add visablity and you would never see a jedi on the terms I would venture to guess that the Jedi who enjoy playing are doing exactly that, while the powergamers and other hacks are taking the easy way out and grinding, quite safely, on Kashyyyk.

So shut up and be thankful they are getting put on the terms Hmm, I think you should go find a new bridge to hunker under, troll.

MBH USED TO BE THE BEST TANK IN THE GAME !!!!! AS IF JEDI WERNT OVER POWERED ENOUGH NOW THEY MAKE BH WEAKER. A BUNCH OF CRY BABY JEDI COMPLAIN TO SONY WHAAA BOOO HOO MY JEDI GO KILLED BY A BH AND NOW BH WENT FROM BEING THE BEST TANK IN THE GAME TO ON OF THE WEAKEST PROSSIONS IN THE GAME. WE PAY A SUSCRIPTION TO IT TIME WE START COMPLAINING BACK. I HAD TO TURN MY MBH INTO A SMUGLER CUS HE IS SO DAM WEAK NOW. PLEASE PLEAS EVERYONE WRITE TO SONY AND LET THEM KNOW THIS WILL NOT BE TOLORATED. THIS IS TOTALY UNFAIR AND LET THESE JERKS AT SONY KNOW IT.

Sorry you weren't happy with the changes, but I personally don't mind them. I have been a BH since shortly after the game came live and prefer to stalk my prey and attack when the opportunity is best for me. The changes are requiring us to use more tactics, not just grab some buddies and go charging after the Jedi guns a blazing. The true MBH knows how to use their surroundings and to time their attacks accordingly - when the Jedi does something stupid, or is fighting something that is draining them. I would suggest you get to know the areas where most Jedi hunt, learn where the MOB's that pose the greatest threats, and spend some time at the major starports watching the dueling Jedi. Get as much intel before you go to the mission terminals, and after you get the mission, use your knowledge to your advantage. Being a Bounty Hunter is 25%fighting and 75% intimidating the *bleep* out of them by knowing their every move.

This was so well said i felt the need to quote it.

uhh hate to break it to you, but no amount of waiting and using your surroundings and hoping a high level mob hits a jedi hard is really going to help you 1v1 a full template jedi, especialy since they only have to get 20m out of range to cloak even if you do get an opportunity, so have fun with that, prepare to spend a week waiting for a great chance to fail, odds are the jedi would log first

This new publish has its high points, but it still seems to be missing the mark:

1/ GOOD - The NPC difficulties have finally been fixed on the terminal. Prior to the publish, I would accept a mission at L18, but my target would be L30 and beyond!!! Now, my targets are within L3 of the mission.

2/ GOOD - Jedi are no longer able to flee into private structures to avoid attacking hunters. I'm not a MBH, but I can fully understand the irritation of tracking a target only for him to hide in his home! After all, nothing would stop any other star wars bounty hunter from attacking a target at home!

3/ BAD - There are more reasons to make names visible than not, but the publish has, even if only for the beginning, hidden them. 1st, I would think that most BH would be told the name of their target "up front". Only under extreme, bizarre circumstances would a hunter only discover such important information midway into a mission. That is the logical, role-play reasoning. 2nd, a BH could avoid targeting friendly jedi by simply not taking their missions against them. However, a BH now has the possibility to take a mission which he would have to quit 1/2 way into completeing!!! 3rd, some BH have scores to settle with other jedi. After all, BH are the most (seemingly) PvP profession. It only makes sense that a BH would be able to take missions for a little payback. I do realize that the selectiveness of a name would allow some BH to single out weak or AFK jedi, but this shouldn't be punished. If a hunter knows of a particularly desirable target, for whatever reason, the hunter should be able to take missions for that target. Such methods are 'foresight' not 'cheating'. For these reasons, the names should be viewable while selecting the missions.

4/ BAD - The payment shouldn't have any randomness to it, but it does. I like the idea of having 'bonus credits' for special kills, but the BH should know what the "flat rate" would be for an assignment.

5/ UGLY - I have yet to reach MBH or any jedi level, but I do believe a combat oriented MBH should have a decent chance of taking a jedi solo. From what I've heard from both MBH and jedi, this isn't the case. I'm not saying jedi should be turned into mush or that BH should become demi-gods. However, something should be done to level the playing field. The biggest advantage to a MMORPG is its ability to improve. I know it isn't easy to create a fair, enjoyable playing enviroment. As a matter of fact, its incredibly difficult to do so. Still, SOE, the devs, and anyone else that creates code, should begin making steps to level things.

Good luck to SOE, Lucasarts, and especially to all the SWG members!!! We're all going to need it!

Anyone try a Ranger to track, cloakers detected, 450m Radar/player track, maybe hire a jedi to FR3 thru Kashyyyk to locate your target, pretty much good as Ranger other than tracking cloakers. Clearly with factional info its more GCW base, KILL The DARK Side, or Order 66 eliminate Rebel jedi, certainly used to be Opposing faction Jedi helping BH, perhaps FRS will give you the perma OVERT you need for an edge....lol... for now they have Slapped BH's back to the only serious professionals mode.

You cannot do this anymore, because you do not have the mark's name. They would be unable to locate your target for you.

I'd like to see Jedi be temporarily removed from the mission terminals while they are offline. Then, return when they are online. It isn't much fun to spend your time grabbing a mission, running to a spynet,attempt to use a droid and get a message saying, "Your target is not online". I pulled four missions and all of the jedi are offline.

If the missions are going to show offline jedi and not give BHs a way to determine whether a mark is online or not, get rid of the stupid Spynets. No need for this extra step. It doesn't enhance gameplay or realism. It just makes a BH have to run across a city before he can use a droid.
