that was my First profession template , it a great template me thinks , so good im coming back to MCH Now , maybe not ranger thought , i may try swordman in there but not to sure as swordman is so much better master then half way there

all the others you have are solid..cover is nice to pick up too, lets you get more shots off before aggro...acc while moving is prpbably the best to have..i managed to get +14 out of my clothes/armor in addition to my 10 master bonus


currently my temp is mch/scout 4040/ marksman 4000/ medic 2204/ m rifle..i'm also 0020 be..i have been dropping that for fs boxes



oh and a liitle peice of advice if you are going to grind bull missions..get a good tenloss dxr-6 acid rifle..by good i mean damage around 450 or better..with this gun you can drop a bull rancor in about 10 headshots..rancors a most vuln to acid

Mine is similiar to some of the others here.


I'm currently Teras Kasi Master/Master CH, with the rest of my points split between medic and some force skills. I was originally a Master Swordswoman, but I like TK better with Creature Handler, for the ability to meditate disease away when hunting for some of the rare babies.

Hehe..I don't doubt that. I've never tried rifles, because honestly, I'm more of a melee type of person than ranged. Just my preference.

On second thought:


A lot of the time I can stop the disease with meditation before I take the first wounds, butafter the last 3 hours hunting bull rancors, and taking horrible wounds repeatedly because "you can't meditate while dizzy," and then having to spend 5-10 minutes meditating every lair (especially when it hits mind, health and action I don't worry about the wounds too much depending on how bad it is), I'm almost tempted to give rifles a shot. Hehe..my character's template has been through heck recently already, so I'm not sure I want to redo it again just yet, but its something for meto think about.

Thinking of dropping BH and most of marksman and going either MTK or Master Rifleman. I still use the LLC a lot to inflict lots of damage fast while the gurreck keeps mid to high level NPCs occupied.


May get serious about the FS stuff and work my way up to initiate, but frankly, the only reason to do so would be to unlock the second character slot and stop, perhaps drop some of the non FS combat for some saber or healing skills. But MCH is not going away again. Love my critters too much.

honestly ch is the perfect compliment to rifles..the pets do the tanking and you sit back and destroy the targets...the only damage you take is ham costs, which are significant if unbuffed...when i hear people talk about, and complain about pet specials (ie poison not working) i have to laugh..any npc/creature under 30, with the right weapon, anda pet tank , a master rifle can drop in about 90 secs...way before the pet does any damage to speak of..this may change with the CU, but for the time being..rifles and ch are a great combo...


with a good acid rifle i (any mrife for that matter)can finish a lvl 57 bull mission in under 5 min,,towards the end of my hunt i had manged 20 mssions on a buff

Try this out able to use every rifle and the scythe you get four mind bleeds and two mind hit 3 ranged and melee not a problem high dmg.Novice medic good stim B's and some nice pet stims keep you and your pet's healthy.must get mindbuff, brandy,and canapes some muon gold for emergencies but you can spam your mind specials.also you have flurry shot 2 for the groups.

it really depends on the way you want to fight whether rifles or tkm is better with CH. with tkm i dont have to heal my pets as much as a rifleman would. i can use pets without armor (like swamp stalkers) on high lvl mobs without the worry of them being incapped. i can meditate away the disease i get from hunting rares. for rifle you dont get hit the pets take the damage. most of the time ya dont get disease cause pets are in there.


so really it all depends on how you want to play CH and whether you like melee or ranged weapons better

Hmm. Read through this thread, and I like it, but all I'm seeing are combat-oriented templates. For a change of pace (and start laughing now), take a look at the template I'm building now (nearly there).


I am...

Master BioEngineer - I create my own pets.

Master Creature Handler - I can handle and train my pets.

Master Scout - Already needed half of it; pick up the other half to get resources, and because you must for Ranger.

0004 Medic - Required for BioEngineer.

0030 Ranger - Ahh... finding the creatures I need for meat/bone/hide, as well as tracking down that hard to find DNA creature.


If you add it all up, that comes to 250 SP. That's right. I have NOTHING else I can do. But this template works really well for me as a commercial BioEngineer/Creature Handler. As far as hunting goes, it does leave a lot to be desired; CDEF weapons do not so much annoy the rancor, as make it fall down laughing at my pitiful damage potential. (Then my Strong Poison/Strong Disease armoured Blurrg of Doom beats it to death while my incap counts down.)


It takes some getting used to, but I always have something for my friends and guildmates to do when they're bored... body guard me and cover my pets while they tank.

Actualy ive been killing the targets before my pets have much time to inflict much damage, But I can hunt bull rancors un buffed by drinking some bandy and eating ahrisa to buff my mind up - then I send my tanks in to draw the lairs attention then with about 5-6 headshots the bull is dead and me and my pets are still in good shape
