Not true. The current "promise" is that those who unlocked will get the equivalent of unlocking in the new system, meaning that they will be assigned a Jedi Trainer and be able to start their journey towards the Light or Dark side of the force. Whatever.

Yes but with the new system you will be Force Sensative but you WON'T be a Jedi untill you complete the new Jedi quests.

Give it at least 2-3 weeks of testing on TC and then it'll probably go to Live. Oh yeah, it hasn't even been pushed to TC yet so there's no telling when it'll hit Live.

No the whole point of unlocking before P10 is so you don't go trough the quests to become force sensative.
FS and Jedi are NOT the same thing.

I really hope you are wrong, cus ill be mighty pissed off if I only get FS and not a Jedi come the release of Pub 10......as im sure alot of other players will be too

Everyone who did not unlock before P10 will have to do quests to become FS and then Quests to become Jedi.
Dev are giving the oportunity to those who unlock between P9 and P10 to skip the FS quest part.
That's more then enough. Don't be so greedy and lazy and do the 2nd part like everyone else will.
One of the more controversial changes that is occurring with Publish 9 is that characters who unlock their slots Between Publish 9 and Publish 10 will not be able to immediately convert to a Padawan. There are a number of reasons why we feel the need to do this, but foremost is a transition period between Force Sensitive and Padawan that will not be done until Publish 10: The Jedi Trials. If you do unlock you will be notified, but not able to convert until P10. If you do not unlock but are along the way, partial credit will be given. This has been discussed in the past few Friday Features.
