Any lightsaber user can still beat atleast 2 upwards to 5-7 non lightsaber users.
You are in no way underpowered.
Except for the noobs... I tried to solo dewback missions, and at the rate I was going it would take me 19 hours to earn the 87k i still need for my next level 1 box
Dont solo then.
If you want to go the safe route (not getting on terms) by soloing it will be slower.
If you want to level fast and are willing to risk a BH encounter then group up with 1) other jedi your level or 2) non-jedi your level.
Also on PvE jedi are still, sadly, an almost must have for defeating high level mobs because of the Avoid incap and Healing and just general tanking.
Not a very sensible answer on SOE's part. The populace says, among other things, "OMG I'm tired of seeing Jedi all over". So....I solo in the manner I'm supposed to. 20+ months to complete my template in a manner that won't piss off other players. That's not much incentive to have any consideration for those around me.
Us Glow Head haters dont care howyou get the exp its more that yall existe in the first place ![]()
Yall are by nature the esence of unballance in the game since glowheads are by disigne more powerfull and no match for any other professions ![]()
Totaly ruins PvP for us normal players (have fought only 1-2 non-jedi from 2 weeks of being overt all around bloodfin)

Ragno you gotta be kidding me right? One other jedi? A pistoleer has a better chance of bringing another pistoleer to help him than having only 2 jedi go out alone. I'm almost a finished template and I still can't do it with just one other jedi even a finished template jedi. Complaining non-jedi are overrating jedi. Besides the fact that non-jedi have an unlimited attack time because they do not rely on a force bar, they can heal the damage as fast as we can put it on, unless we nail them to the floor and start whacking them with our slow and weakattacks. Or at leastme and a bunch of my friends have been fighting bh and other players that can heal their wounds to make it seem as if we didn't touch them. And the way this new system is set up, it is still forcing jedi to choose certain templates so they can survive the ongoing disasters thrown at us. Ranged professions were actually spoiled because of the following:

Then last night I happened to log into another character on another server that I don't think I've been on since the CU, and definitely never respec'ed, and suddenly got the final respec warning on that character. In this case the timer seems to have been too short.
There may have also been a problem that others may have had, that they clicked the 'Never' button on the respec window, and they might never have been shown their final warning message. Not sure if the final respec window was programmed to display even if the 'Never' option was used, but it sounds like that might have been the case for some.
I think the respec process would have worked smoother if there was either a single definite end date for all players that was announced up front, such as May 31 or whatever, or if there was an interface that the user could call up at any time to let you see your timer so that you would know exactly how long you had left on your respec timer (and also let you know how long till you can respec again would be handy). The way this respec was done with timers that don't seem to be consistent, and variable time frames starting from when you first log in or first respec or whatever, inconsistent final warnings, and the possibility that the final warning might even be blocked by the user inadvertantly, leaves too much room for error, and I think a lot of players, myself included, got caught off guard not because we didn't know that the respec was about to end, but because we weren't sure when exactly it would end. It's not unreasonable for us to continue to use it if we wish while it's still an available option. I think we were expecting a definite 'Last Chance' respec that was guaranteed to pop up, but for some of us it either didn't work, the 'Never' button was used which stopped it from being displayed, or maybe we just didn't happen to log on at the time which it would have been displayed (it didn't wait for us to give us the opportunity use it). Worse yet, some users may have been letting some of their respec skill box points ride from one session to the next saving them for the final respec, and these users may lose out on skills they worked hard to gain. Certainly these users should be an example of people who got caught unexpectedly by the system, because if they had known their respec time was ending, they would surely have spent these points again.
To anyone who is considering using the respec at this time or who's respec is still open, I would suggest you use it carefully from this point on, and don't assume that you will get a final respec notice, because you might not. You might not want to spend too long trying different combinations, and you might want to settle on a final template well before you have to worry about your respec period coming to an end or you might get stuck in something you don't want or losing any respec points you may be carrying over.

To TH and any other players wanting to use the respec. The respec timer doesn't seem to work "right", and even worse, it's invisible from the user's standpoint, you never know how you really stand with the timer and there's no way to check it. I first respec'ed the day the CU came out, I think, and I guess my timer ran out over this past weekend. Even with the slightly vague timeframe of 3 weeks plus another 6 days, I would have expected it to have run out sometime in early or the middle of last week, but it didn't. It continued to offer it to me into the weekend, and because I was having fun with a temporary template, I kept extending it on a day by day basis waiting for my final respec warning. By Monday, my template suddenly stuck, and my right to respec was suddenly revoked. I never got the warning message and final respec on my main, and I know because I read the respec window carefully each time it popped up when I logged in. I got trapped in my temporary template, and never got to respec back to my normal one.

Dude, this is really easier said than done. I'm nearing knight status and I dreaded the days as a noob padawan. Jedi don't get even close to measuring up to a bounty hunter until about 150 skill points are used. As far as PvE goes, we can't even solo unless we have master lightsaber or master defender. You are quite disallusioned if you think otherwise.

hmmm strange... and again we are having different ppl telling different things. I really feal ur making fun of us. One tells us there is no more support about repec issues and anotherone just give support for it.
Just want to remind about the two versions about how we should know repec ends. One said oh well u will get a special warning message and some other say its ur fault if u can't count the days until u first logged in.
CHEEERS m8 great job again
And just for my last 2 cents about that,a copy and paste version of the ig-tickets shows great disrespect to ur customer @ Tiggs, just shows us how u guys checkt that "internal"...oh well here is already a comment about that just let it copy&paste it in the forums....
Thunderheart, I'm posting this here so that perhaps you can pass it along to the Devs. It is a respec issue that didn't really affect me, but would have been bad if I'd expected a last respec on my Jedi on the final day it was available.
I have an alt on the same server, he's my crafter character. I logged him in a week or so after the CU went live. He's completely non-combatant, and as you know, non-combatants didn't get a respec for awhile. I logged my Jedi in 2 days after the CU went live.
On the last day of my respec for my Jedi, I logged my alt in first that day, to check some vendors. I DID get the pop-up box saying "Warning - your respec is about to expire," which was fine - I didn't respec on that character. I logged out.
I then logged in my Jedi, and out of curiosity, I typed /respec on the Jedi immediately upon loading in (I never got the pop-up on my Jedi, in fact after the first respec period ended and before the next 2 extensions went in, i didn't get a pop-up ever on my Jedi, only on my alt).
When I hit /respec on my Jedi character, the OK button was greyed out - and in the left part of the window, it said I could no longer respec.
In other words, I got one final respec for one account, for my 2 characters on the same server. I happened to login my Jedi's alt before my Jedi character - and that alt apparently was the only character who got a final respec.
I'd already had my final template chosen, but this seemsto be not right at all for someone who was relying on their last respec- andhappened to loginin their Jedi alt first that day.
I would appreciate confirmation you're passing this information on to the team. It seems to be quite a bug.

Yes sir,
It says something about not being able to actually respec but I can play with the window and the skill boxes.
I'm actually in game now, it says 'You are currently not authorized to respec your character. You may use this window, but you cannot actually perform your respec.'
It's been well over 24 hours and I'm a bit worried now, since I sold all my crafting items to do thisI know that was hasty, but hey.
Do you remember how long it has been since you logged in after the CU was published?
The respec timer starts counting from the first time you logged in after that publish.

Thanks - I will pass this info along.
TH, these occurrences are nothing new. Thousands of people are all reporting the same problems of either not getting the final respec warning, getting no respec message window at all, getting a message that they improperly appropriated points and actually lose out on that respec chance (sometimes it being their last one), or in my case, getting the final warning for my main jedi character, then logging in that characters alt, getting no respec message whatsoever, and not being able to do a final respec, even with /respec. People are not happy. The system is not working as we were told it would, and all we've been getting is a standard auto-response from csr's and even Tiggs. It ain't right, especially when we're paying.
