Thread: jedi question

Honestly i really urge you to play the game and not consider jedi at all yet. Play the normal game, enjoy being in a guild and playing regular professions before you think about going jedi.
If you go jedi now youll miss out on so much of the game.

Opening with knockdown may not be the best move since it has a 30 second timer on landing it again. It will also tell the Jedi that you are not a seasoned hunter. If you cannot deal out a massive alpha strike, don't use KD in your opening, period.
Your template allows you to break a Jedi's defensive macros. Watch their Aura/Armor icons... when the start flashing they are about to wear off. That is the perfect time to score your KD/startle shot during the fight. Hit them with KD about 3 seconds before the timer ends, then hit them with startle and their macro will NOT reapply. Most times they will not immediately notice that they are now essentially defenseless without the aura and armor going.
You have between 1 and 10 seconds at this point to put the Jedi down before the realize what's happened to them. This is your opportunity to deal out over 3k damage in under 10 seconds. If you time it well, you can pull off the following:
kd, startle, sniper, critical, head, torso, sniper
If you can land that.... well I don't know many Jedi that can outheal that barrage.... When used in an alpha strike, it's deliciously lethal!
