Thread: Another Boring BH Jedi control idea
look...I think the idea of this game is to allow people to play their characters, not keep them locked up in a house afraid to play. I dislike the starport groups too but it's their thing. They like it, so I pay no mind to it. It shouldn't be anyone's business to inflict game changes on another playerproff for the purpose of malice or to appease their personal opinion on what their swg world should look like to the point where it affects other players enjoyment.
That being said, if you want to see less of a profession, ask the devs to give them more game occupying content. It's obvious that people get bored in the game a lot.
Please give it a rest.
This thread is nothing but a thinly veiled attempt to nerf jedi even more. It is not constructive at all and has nothing to do with Bounty hunter. YOu have no more right to loot our saber as a swordsman has to loot a players carbine. Guess what smart guy, the Dev said "Player Looting will never happen."

I would 100% support a permadeath/saber tef system.
with permadeath deaths decaying at 1.5 deaths/day ( yes i know thats very little but lets be realistic it was horrible b4)

Well if it came to putting my money where my mouth is I'd say go with it 
would lead to some pared down inventories instead of the current carryin everything, would make PVP more meaningful as well, now which weapon do I go overt with the 20 mil adk super rifle or the 90% as good freeby I looted, hmm I wonder keep the good stuff for high level pve stuff. Personally though I think this would be too extreme for many players, I personally would welcome it. If someone beats me fair and square why shouldnt they loot my corpse and leave me naked even
Well alot of jedi like myself have/had a BH alt at one point so they have every right to be here as you do. Also, I would think you would value their input more cause they can see it from BOTH perspectives.

. Its an idea thats all, I dont think everyones seeing the big picture with it, bt theres a lot of Jedi ruishing in "all guns blazing"

Then let it if you dont like it leave it alone, why come back here to whine it needs to die and so keep it alive
a bit like all game whiners. If dont like it quit, I like the game, and dont see ANY changes being made to the game which are likelly to drive me from it completely. Nerf BH to hell, I will play another template, they would have to do a lot of work to take away all fun from this game. The game isnt all about Jedi vs Bounty hunter. I would be happy enough to plat the game without either, as it happens I enjoy bh as well, Im sure I would also enjoy Jedi, even with the grind, im pretty sure I would get that done as quickly as anyone can. In fact I would enjoy jedi EVEN KNOWING my sabre could be taken away, I enjoy PVP knowing I will probably lose because my template isnt FOTM, Guess im just not a power gamer.

I bang my head on the brick wall, thinking damn these guys cant read whats so game breaking about a slight change on an existing game mechanic, currently Jedi lose xp and grind it back, under the suggested system Jedi lose sabre and are able to hunt it back, if they are smart they would have a back up in their pockets already.
The suggestion is not simply lose their sabres have to replace it at 200 mil, there was a whole load of suggestions and yet everyone sees it as a nerf, I pity the poor devs trying to cater to the Jedi, what ever they do will be seen as a nerf. Funny I have yet to complain myself about any nerf in the game. EVEN as an artisan who lost their armour, I got on and enjoyed the way the game plays now.

I enjoy PVP knowing I will probably lose because my template isnt FOTM, Guess im just not a power gamer.
That's apretty funny indictment considering that my template the entire time from pub9 to the CU was Master Healer, Master Enhancer, Saber 4004 - yea, totally FOTM.
