The problem is that PvP is supposed to be consentual between both players. By being a jedi, you are automatically consenting to PvP combat. You might want to look in the smuggler forums because for whatever reason, those guys are itching to show up on the terminals.

because you'd end up with that rich idiot putting a stupidly high bounty on a dancer who wouldn't react to his 'advances'
mind you, I'd gladly take a bounty on some of those AFK spammers.
And? I mean I don't wanna ruin anyones game, but in the end, so what if we kill them? They aren't Jedi, they don't lose exp, its a small inconvience, and it benefits the BH community, aswell as the person who put the Bounty up.
To stop expoliting they could do numerous things, such as only allow Bounties to be placed on Combat characters. Also the person putting the Bounty up could be forced to list a reason, like the NPC Bounty's, and then any decent BH(And yes most of us actually are) would see if it was an unfair Bounty, and simply refuse to take it. Course you get idiots everywhere and someone would abuse the system, but they would find a Bounty on THEM soon enough, and if they persisted in acting like they do, they could be reported for harrasment.
That's a rant, but what I'm trying to say is there is NO REAL reason why player Bounty's can't be worked in.

because not all players want anything directly to do with the combat side of the game - PvE or PvP.
Where as Jedi have no say in whether they want to be in PvP because it is part and parcel of the profession, and they have a chance of fighting back; you can't say that for characters that are nothing more than entertainers or crafters - and you do get them that don't even have a novice combat box.

I meant something like only Master Brawlers/Marksman or above could be hunted.

Well I don't want to sound heartless but TOUGH!! I mean this is supposed to be a "reality" based game is it not? In reality#$%^ happens. If a non-combatant gets a bounty placed on them it really doesen't consern me if they are interested in combat, I am sure they will die just the same. And if they have a problem with it they will at that point find me unemployed and freeto exact their own messure of revenge.

funny thing i came to think about is.. I think alot of Jedi are going to put large bounties on my and make their MBH friends to get me, well.. I can live with that, i just need to state i think there should be included a Bounty Hunter Creed, so Bounty Hunters hunting or killing fellow hunters will get 1-7 day bans from the Bounty Hunter Guilds missions?
didnt think this well trough, just something that poped in to my mind!

With a one week timer until another bounty can be placed on you, would they really get that upset about it if they died once a week. Besides, I'm not gonna shoot the WS who makes my weapons, or the AS who makes my armor, or the chef who makes my food...
