The faction point thing is probably ill advised. I did it anyway. I traded about 20kfaction for 20k combat experience over time. Someday I'll look back on it with regret, when faction perks are worth buying.

But yeah, this is a lousy way to go about it. Killing big game really fast is the tried and true method, as is the C12 grenades on lairs *if* you can get nice enough ones to make it time efficient. You can just toss a few grenades here and there on a lair and still get more combat experience than if you had done straight pistol damage.

What would a good set of c-12's be around, stat wise? And how many can you get in a crate?

Hmm, so how much would I get for 5000 faction point do you think. I really don't want to grind this out, thought I was set and then I noticed it was combat xp ... I just logged off after that. Any way to just buy it?

In the time you'll spend hunting for grenades you'll get 40,000 combat exp easily and more.

Work out how long it took you to get your last box of pistol exp and do the same thing again.

2 hours of fan shotting quenkers to death will be more then enough.

So wait, let me get this straight: C-12 grenades are usable by non-commandos and give combat xp in place if reg xp?

Is this right?

I know this is not good advise for all, or even for many, but I get Combat the "easy" way.

I head to Tusken, or Geon Caves. And just Unarmed3 the Mobs. In teh case of teh first "room" of teh Geon caves, I can get 500 Combat per kill. And I can get 40-60k of combat xp there in pretty short order.

I saw one suggestion to get a take or tankers, set them in the room, you sit just outside the cave with a decent dmg DX2, spam Fan....you will eat that xp need right up my friend, I promise....as long as teh spawn rate is decent. It seems to cycle for us on Shadowfire. Some days we cannot keep up....others we twiddly our thumbs for several minutes between spawns. But such is life..

When I did it, I couldn't track down decent C12 grenades at the time. I just continued what I had been doing - killing snorbals on Lok (can't get missions, have to find herds of them), grouping on dathomir, and turning faction into Combat Experience at the recruiter. I didn't do that much, but I did it some.

using grenades to convert weapons XP to combat XP was an exploit. it no longer works.

not sure if comandos get raw combat XP from grenades or not but killing a lair with JUST c-12 as a non-commando is so cost ineffective and time intensive you would do better just shooting monsters.

yeah i meant in the first room where the geonosians spawn just move back so you can see them and just fanshot everytime there is a spawn. Usually there will be some other melee person there to distract them.

heres the best way to get that last box of Pistol Stances

Delete a box of marksmanship. I unintentionally did it. It works damn nice. You Just have to do an extra box, easy enough. Throwing c12s was a huge waste of time. Just regrind one box and have fun killing it. Dont have a monitor for combat xp also. It will go up faster if you just kill stuff. For me it was Giant Baz Nitches on Dathomir. Just gotta find your "nitch". YASYAS UBERPUN!
