Little help here. I have been playing for 3 months and i am a MCM, MBH, 4 x x x - rifleman. I am having problem taking down level 80 - 82 marks. I eat blob candy and spiced tea before each fight. My weapons are sliced out the ying - yang. I usually start with snipe shot - get only 1400 dmg, head shot - 800 damage, kneecap shot - 400 damage, critical - 400 damage, and then start over. This combination doesn't seem to work very well. My action bar is the first to go and my weapons have low sac - 80 - 90. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

MBH/MCM/Carbs 0400.

Great template, I have a snare to replace the nerfed electrolyte drain, have the best two skills for a B to ahve, Legshot and Advanced Crit. I also have great accuracy, speed and defense.

Although i dont do huge amounts of damage, with duelest stance, and improved infussion, plus the buffs and crazy healing abilities, it works nicely for me

I also Have this exact same template and also Love it. Although I dont go jedi hunting.

I also have a MBH/MCM/SL 0400, with marksmen 0100 for added pistol skills and 1 point in FS ranged speed. So far I am loving this template too. The new SL skills either allow me to be an uber tank or add serious damge or accuracy.

I liked being a MD, and am currently Medic 4040. I was thiking of going CM 4000 instead since I do have to heal often during the more elite marks.

What do you do about a snare/root? The big reason I went MBH/MP/Medic4040 was because of Pistoleer's Stopping Shot (and I like the Intimidate and Warning Shot debuffs, too!)

I always start my attack with an ALR at full range: with a root, and then bleed, and then all of my damage combos. Repeat until the snare breaks, and then I Underhand shot them and try for more damage before they can close in. As they approach, I draw my scatter amd try to debuff them and initiate my Duelist Stance macro.

Do you just count on the buffs and Duelist Stance as a defense as they close in, or do you try to kite? (Or am I missing a root or snare?! )

I would love to be a MD again if it's viable. (I only do PvE marks and love to solo-- you two have me wondering if I can give up Master Pistoleer!)

I Recently switched from MBH/MRifle/CM 4000 to MBH/MPistol/CM 4000. I admit that I had more sucess with Rifles, but then again I am still learning Pistols.

But having a good temp is only half the battle. You have to have all the right equipment, and know what your template can really do. The template alone isnt enough.

If you are MBH/MRifle/CM 4000, and head off to fight Jedi with a crappy set of Composite armor with no AB slice, or foods, or spices, or PSG, and Using a Advanced Laser Rifle that you looted off a Meat Lump that has 130 SAC....Youre going to get Plowed.

Just throwing that out there for those of you seeking the "perfect" Jedi killing template

Well ive never had a problem with not being able to snare or root. And yes the temp is viable or i wouldnt still be using it. I take the high level boss npcs, usually pretty easily. For hunting jedi, I rarely have the problem of a jedi staying to far (unless they are running away lol) so to snare is just a waste of time, since he needs to be at least 32 meter just to saber throw. Which saber throw isnt gonna take me down fast enough with the infussion, healing and stance up. I have to say i do miss root, but you know the healing aspect and debuff of doc to me, makes that worth loosing.

I only use this temp for Pve and Some Pvp, never have hunted Jedi with it so can't tell you whether it's viable for that. As far as Boss mobs go, I have never had ANY problem with taking them down, I use a macro with stance/infusion which cycles at its timed usage, so I never have to expend healing on mobs unless they get a lucky shot in with using new AI specials. As far as snare and root go, dont need em in pve as far as I am concerned..mobs either stay put and shoot or try and run up to use melee, at which point I just kite kill them.

Accuracy and speed are issues, however with judicious use of food and CA/AA's those can become manageable.

As far as weapons I use..I prefer carbines with this combo, maxed with SAC and damage, speed sliced.
