Thread: Another Boring BH Jedi control idea

Second give them different robes with different effects.

Fourth SABRE LOOT, anyone killing a jedi in PVP, BH or otherwise gets the to loot the jedis sabre - it will of course be "broken" and pearls are unretrievable, so no one can profit, but you get a nice trophy for the effort. MY theory goes that less jedi will be out getting visibility if their glow sticks gonna get conviscated for their actions.
Fifth if the above alone doesnt end duelling at starports, and reduce jedi visibility, bring in starport sabre TEF any Jedi iwith a ignited LS within 300m of a starport is instantly attackable by any bh in the neighbourhood.
I for one would love a collection of Jedi light sabres for display.
I think there would be a lot less full template uber sabres getting visibility.
Sweet but to make it fair when the jedi kills the BH we get to loot all your money and items, Oh and if you have our mission u will appear red before you attack. sound fair?

In the original post PART of this suggestion was the ability to loot flawless and premium pearls, In a special Jedi paradise where you dont gain visibility, taking only parts of this idea and attacking it on the grounds that the rest of it are not in place, can be done the other way with BH saying NO WAY LET THEM HAVE THEIR OWN CONTENT AND PEARLS BACK. attack the whole idea not one piece in isolations.
Balanced compared to what? Please PvP rating costs nothing all it is a standing. Wooo a trophy for -500k jedi xp and a loss of an 80mil saber.... yea sign me up for one of those... NOT! As mentioned before if we don't have the ability to loot them how can we get them? You do know many things in this game require us to fight NPCs which give Vis. You are suggesting for everyone to only fight creatures to only be grouped when using healing macros defensive buffs (which btw is the SAME as center of being) ... come on man you're being RIDICULOUS.
No this idea is to REPLACE XP LOSS, with a now replaceable sabre, the sabre would no longer cost 80 mil to replace as the pearls will be dropping again in jedi heaven. I am suggesting Jedi will have the ability to PVP amongst themselves, pretty much the way it is at the moment, with GCW being owned by the alpha class jedi.
Thats what the alt and Jedi paradise is for the option of waving your sabre at theed is still open, just the risk is slightly higher than the zero risk currentylf for full templates. I HAVE NO TROUBLE, Im suggesting a bit of fun to add to the game FOR BOTH sides, you seem a little blinkered and unbalanced may I suggest PVP on jedi acadamy across the net?
My alt is a crafter, so are alot of jedi alts. In fact many of them make YOUR armor and YOUR weapons so you can hunt us. If you really want me and all the other jedi to stop doing that - we can. Would you really want that to happen though? As far as your jedi paradise...... thats called an enclave and it does nothing. Yep I henceforth call for all jedi to stop crafting for the hated BH and for all BH to boycott the jedi traders. You would have every bit as much opportunity to wave your sabre in public but now if a BH is skilled enough he may take it from you, and you will be able to replace it with far less effort due to redropping pearls and unhassled hunting, YOU LOSE NO ABILITY TO BE IN PUBLIC, you just have a disincentive.
WHAT POSITIVES!? You get a friggin trophy! While we lose 80mil+ and have to spend MORE time and MORE money to get it back... IF WE CAN. Not to mention XP loss. Balanced? heh yea right, you lose nothing if you lose. Doesn't seem balanced at all to me.
OK now you are getting boring Ive answered the same questions over and over.
BH will lose something, Jedi loss will be mitigated by the bonus's off dropping pearls etc. your 80 mil sabre will no longer cost anywhere nearl 80 mil to replace with one just as good

Jedi have such an interesting defintion of fair, why dont we delete all BH accounts, and stop the BH posting IN THEIR OWN FORUM

there is a difference between a fair system and an unfair system xp loss is fair seeing as xp has no monetary value, saber loss is extremely unfair as it has an immense monetary value
besides the point if you went into eisley and said to the new players (most of which want to become a jedi) hey you can become jedi but if you die to a bounty hunter or in pvp gank squads you lose a accounts worth of credits in a saber they wouldnt like it

FFS The sabre loss wont be such a big deal if the pearls are dropping again AS PER THE SUGGESTION

The pearls will take the same as XP to replace a bit of work hunting. Credits dont come into it unless you couldnt be arsed to do your own hunting under the proposed system
No but you arent only going to loot one pearl in the jedi safe hunting grounds either, yes you have to spend a bit of time hunting to make up for the loss, but you do to make up xp loss as well, lets face it this idea is no where near crippling as perma death of the xp nerf.
