Thread: Gorax

They like to area attack so just slowly drag it into a nest and let the mobs do the hard work for you.
same way i like ot do krayts. stand on the nest and let the gorax / dragon hit you once. they will do nice damage as it chases you in a circle.
Keep the snare on, Keep it in the area of it's spawn. Kite it and keep dealing damage. With snare and burstrun (food) you will stay out of its range.
Use KD, high dmage, heal when you can. Look for the red line that runs around him when you KD. It will stay for the cooldown time. When it stops, hit it with KD again. Use the arrow keys to run backwards, so you can keep an eye on it.
It will fall eventualy, just stay away from it. Three hits in a row will kill you.
Also, consider using your assult armor rather than recon if your not doing so already. The first gorax I killed while I was wearing recon and it was tough. with my assult it was no sweat

Any tips?
Well, as a MBH, MR, 0404 Pistoleer I was able to solo a Krayt with little trouble. Between the Root and Snare I was able to stay outside his range the entire fight. I would think (and will soon test) that it would work the same on a Gorax.
Looks like your problem is that you cannot root your target, which means you will be taking damage a lot. I would suggest using your Snare and KD to keep the Gorax outside 10m so you don't get hit. You'll take a few hits, but don't try and not take any because it is unavoidable with your template. What you want to do is use your KD to buy some time (for the snare to cooldown) and some seperation. Don't use the KD if your Snare cannot be fired next, otherwise you will not be able to get seperation when you land the snare.

I used snares, I used knockdowns and the thing didnt touch me at all.
Try to kite it in a circular fashion. Dont move backin a strait line or the thing will retreat and gain health back.

In my experiences with Gorax, they have hit alot harder than my boss marks do.
yeah they hit hard ill try with assault on
They are deinately toughter than boss mobs
I just did it with the same templete you have. Its doable Kite in a circles dont stray to far from the original spawn as the previous posters have said. It helps to try stay away from other aggro so plan your route.
KD, snare HS Breath of Heaven Ruby Beil and some crispics for accuracy is what i used. Seems once you get them past half is can swing your way big time however stay as far away from its as you can. Also while planning your kite path watch for hill and valleys as you will loose site of him and not get a valuable shot in on him if you knock him down..
