Thread: I'm About to Cross The Thin Red Line

Ok so I hit this really easy Jedi target right north of Nym's and incap him after about 5 mins. I never offer payouts, but this guy seemed to be really new at Jedi and I needed the money badly. So I /tell him that I won't incap him for a 1 mil payout. He agrees. He gets up and starts healing, and I don't attack (stupid move on my part), thinking he's just getting ready to pay. Wrong. He roots me and runs.
So long story short I've been chasing this guy all over Lok for a few hours. I've caught up to him a couple times and fought him to the point of him almost getting incapped, butI just haven't been able to get a KD at the right time yet. This guy has no chance against my combat skils, but I needto keep him long enough so I can get him.I will not stop until he's dead at my feet. I usually never chase a running Jedi, but this guy is just plain infuriating. He took advantage of my good will, however naive I may have been. So I'm not dropping this mission until he is dead.
So here's my question: Can I keep this mission active as long as I want until he's dead, or if I take too long will I evetually fail the mission becaus eof his vis lowering or something?
I've learned a valuable lesson: Never offer a payoff. I will update on my hunt for this creep if anything new develops.
PS- I've never been this kind of BH before, always courteous, always honorable. But this time, since my trust was taken advantage of, however naive, no more Mr. Nice Pedic Cuff.

you have 3 days to kill him, or the mission will drop.
The guy is a scumbag, I hope youdo kill him.

missions last for 3 days or until another bh kills the mark. whichever comes first

Hey man i feel for you :/
I had a mark ( full template ) and I got to him at jabbas place but i found him at the shuttle at side of jabbas
so i started my attacks but he went for it to so i fought him for 10 mins or so then he decided to run around building to get his mind up as i got it right down
He also went into the bunker so i followed but i thought a head to head with jedi in small room NO way
so i backed out and teased him out then he started running around building again.
I followed knocking him down and snairing but with no success then he decided to run away so I followed
We had alittle friendly chat then i said to him lets go head to head to the death
He agree'd
He clocked i followed and guess what he went back to his little bunker :/
i went into room where he was and went for it
But to my shock i was kicking his ass,
He near enough got me at times but i as getting the better of him so what he decided to do was run and cloak so i sent him a message i thought to the death then i got my first hate tell LOL
I had to go to bed at this stage as it was pritty late so i the same as you decided for the first time to keep my mark and carry on with the hunt, but every time i was online no luck of the mark so i had to drop it ./cry
Just hope you nail this guy then avea good all laugh at him

All missions come with a three day decay timer. Once that passes, the mission is automatically pruned from your datapad.
