Don’t you think this would be a good idea?Everyone always talks about being “one the server’s top BHs”, but how do you know? You might hunt Jedi everyday but how would you do against your own kind?Each server could hold one and report the top 5.There could an entry fee (maybe 75K) and the winning going to the top spot.I would donate at least 2 mil credits to the pot just for the chance to compete on my server (Chilastra).

So what do you think?

Sounds good. But, I have a question or two.

Most BH Templates are designed to take on Jedi Templates not BH Templets. Your contest would be more of a BH PvP than a "Best Hunter" contest.

Why not set a time limit and see who compleates the most bounties. Then devise a ranking sytem contingent on SS and Combat logs to score the fight based on the assumed template of the Mark. The compat log would provide the specials used by the Jedi in battle. This would help determine the template and amount of resistence the BH was met with.

Make a plan, let's hear it.

no. some jedi will be on and some will be off. youd have to coordinate with jedi for this. so no.

a heads up, thatd be cool. ive seen manypvp tournements, never a bh one. and even tho bh is geared toward hunting jedi, thats how it is. jedi intournements have to adjust to everyone cuz its run what u brung type. so, u fight what ever is there. so no. keep it whose ever good enough as a bh one vs one. dont tailor it. that would be weak.

Only problem with that is that are SO many newb Jedi who can't fight. Since bounties are random, it has more luck than show of skill to do bounties. Plus since most BH use energy (I know,I know I have a kinetic rifle too) it really wouldn't be that much of a difference in skill set. Plus a good BH can adapt to different situations.

That's what the scoring sytem would be for. But, it's your idea, run with it. I'm still game.

Why not findsome experienced full template jedi willing to duel a number of BH's, one after another. Have ~5 jedi participate, and a BH's score is the average % of force drained after fighting all 5 jedi. Just have ~5 judges (one to watch each fight) and crunch the numbers at the end.

I was suggesting more of a BH PvP tournament.I doubt any 5 Jedi would want to battle all the BH on a server (especially if they end up dying each round!).Even if they did a lot of BH would just end up arguing the “opinions” of who was best, much less who was top 5.You can’t dispute a 1 on 1 match with no rules.Either you win or not.Since it would not be facing just one opponent, you’d have to be able to be very adaptive to end up on top.Not just a template that can beat only one template, but the best overall…

if you organised it with some jedi to fight you know a BH is gonna be sat on the sidelines with the jedi's mission just waiting to jump in with the DB

What the hell???

Are you scared to fight EACH OTHER???

Thats how it is on Starstrider. Our pvp tournaments are one on one. Every prof vs Every prof. Straight up hardcore.

Now, nothings wrong with bh vs bh, but geeze, why dont you just fight each other?

this is indirect competition....

why does everyone want to water this game down..

Poster, i agree with you. set it up on one on one terms. thats the way to go. if others dont want to do it, they dont have to.

This doesn't work as a bounty HUNTER you hunt not duel, this just turns into a PvP tourney as there no tactics involved just fighting

Sounds fun, i would compete. But you would have every range guy in there since people are working on BH. Plus it looks like we are having fight night on our server every month now, We have arranged PVP Tourns at range, melee and Jedi. But im down. I like the competition
