Thread: Trash-Talking BHs
Theres always a few bad ones. You'll find that these sort of players are probably 13 year olds who get picked on in school and ignored by the girls, so they try and find some degree of superiority by talking down to people in game. /End SocialEvaluation
Just /addignore them

Who knows Pedric... some people take the game way to seriously.
Just my two cents worth from the jedi side of things:
I've been unlocked now for about 3 months and full template for about 2, and I still get shaky when I have a BH on me. Even though I get visited about once a day and more on the weekends. I enjoy the fights as much as I think the BH enjoys the hunt. I look forward to a good fight. That's what it's about, it's a game, unfortunately the rules of engagement are vague, and the liberty of it being an RPG is taken to the extreme. Some have forgotten that with great power, comes great responsibilty.
All of my BHs have given me a fair fight, and win/lose/draw, I always either give them tips on what they could've done better, rez'ed a few, and have become friends with all of them. I've even tipped 50k to a few that had to come find me in the wilds after I've killed them, I figure that if they're going to take the time to come that far out after me, that I should repay them something for the death express back to the 'port. They didn't have to come after me, they could've taken the next mission or an NPC, but they chose to spend the time hunting me.
I consider it an honor when I'm hunted, and always have had a fun time with my fights.
I hope that you have better luck with your prey and their manners, I don't see this as proper exemplary behavior from a jedi (you didn't see Obi-Wan or Darth Vader for that matter making such statements) and I don't agree that it's right. Unfortunately though, some people don't share my viewpoint.

The scoffing and the "pathetic" stuff is subtle but really aggravating. It's taunting, and is unacceptable if your opponent hadn't trash-talked you.
If you can't take the trash talking, maybe it's time to find a new profession. Our mere existence is aggravating to a Jedi.
I don't see any reason to do anything other than play the engagement out, from either side. When I was a BH, I would set up the kill, get it done or not, and move on. I'm not here to chat, I'm not here to make a new friend on the other end of my rifle, I'm here to test myself against some glowsticker. Win or lose, I never said anything, and appreciated it when the mark never said anything either. This whole "here's some credits and a play-by-play analysis of your failure and a rez, greasedown, and a shiatsu" thing is just as bad for some as "u suxx0rz" and a /rude.
BH vs Jedi is a professional encounter. Wish it would stay professional.

No I'm not going to find a new prof because I love being a BH.I hate it when people say **edit** like that.
And there are plenty of Jedi who hate when they're hunted, but it's part of the game.
Although I do personally thing any Jedi who uses the word "noob" should automatically lose XP for unjedilike conduct.

Whats wrong with being power hungry?
